Amazing property

We love this property, so pretty and relaxing the only thing we have a problem with is the smell of the inside of the double wide! It smells like someone has had some aquariums in it. Or wet dogs the mop has been used for a long time and smells really bad!Other than that we didnt have a problem with anything else really love the property

KY Lake girl trip

Loved the quiet, secluded waterfront setting even though it was a little tricky to navigate the "off the beaten path" route to get there. Drive is a little steep. The exterior needs a little freshening up, windows washed, etc. - can be hard to maintain b/c of wooded setting. Wonderful, new spacious deck out front, spent lots of time out there. Plenty of seating. Peaceful quiet with only birds singing and an occasional boat going by. Saw squirrels and deer. Nice getaway. Interior was very clean, homey and tastefully decorated. Kitchen had everything - lots of extra items not usually available in a rental. Great communication. Highly recommend and would stay again! Thanks! Janet H.

Nice Lakeside Location

First impression of the outside was not good due to lots of spider webs and tree debris. In fairness, there were recent storms in the area causing much of this, however a good power blowing would have helped. The inside was spotless and all appliances, kitchen countertops, etc. were modern. The master bed was very comfortable. The firepit was exceptional and we really enjoyed it. I broke one of the chairs around the firepit and notified the hostess, she graciously responded quickly.

Lake stay

Pictures were a little miss leading. The property was a little run down. But we enjoyed the weekend there. It was clean. One bathroom had a few problems and we made management aware.

Nice place. Bed was very comfortable. Windows could use cleaning. Location is far way from everything but beautiful view of the lake.If you are looking to be secluded with a good view, this is the place.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We spent 4 days just relaxing on the deck. Enjoyed all of the natural beauty of the area. the water view was fantastic. A pair of gold finches were building a nest right next to the deck. We really enjoyed watching their activity. Everything we needed was provided in the house.

Loved our quiet weekend away celebrating my husbands birthday! Even though the lake was a little low to fish, we enjoyed watching birds, exploring land between the lakes, and playing games/puzzles.

Beautiful View! Relaxing and enjoyable!

Clean place. Although the outside deck needs some maintenance, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun rise in the morning from the deck and relaxed around the fire at night. The inside was remodeled and looked very nice. The beds were soft and we rolled towards each other throughout the night but I guess that wasnt a bad thing, LOL. The place met all our needs and we would stay again.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time. Quiet and relaxing. It was everything we wanted. Comfortable and clean cabin. Will look to stay here again. Short walk to the lake for fishing or swimming. Definitely recommend if you are looking for private and quiet.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I along with our friends met here for the weekend. They drove in from TN while we drove down from MO. We had a great week staying here. It has everything you could ever imagine needing for the weekend minus your food and drinks! The men fished down at the lake each day and we drove into town to eat at Kenlake Marina. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!

Great but Secluded

Property was excellent, no issues, as advertised. Clean, beautiful lakeside spot. Recommend placing turn by turn directions to boat ramp, Coordinates took us to a guys back yard and he gave us real directions. Recommend placing your guy's recommendations for local resteraunts nearby with phone numbers to help out of town people, Maybe a binder on counter. Take everything you will need. Long way to go get things.

So peaceful...

We needed a quiet getaway to recharge. This place was perfect. Super clean, very well appointed, beautiful natural setting. It felt quiet and away but had great modern conveniences. Wifi, etc worked great. Loved it, will definitely use it again.

Great views and homey stay

We really enjoyed our family stay in this property. The kids were thrilled with the games and yard. As the adults, we were thrilled with the gorgeous view- especially sunrise … but that beautiful view over the water!!! The cabin was very clean, roomy and well stocked. We appreciated the bottled water since the location is quite remote. We bought groceries at Piggly Wiggly in Dover and found all we needed. We are from an area of the country that has sparkling clean water and friendly beaches. We were surprised at how dirty the water is in this lake. The beach is not very friendly to playing or walking with large, sharp rocks and some discarded garbage/fishing equipment. We understand these are the results of a man made lake that attracts lots of fishing! Of course this is no fault of the owner. It was disappointing that the beautiful stone fire pit has recently been dismantled. There is a metal fire pit for those marshmallows 😊 The wifi is excellent- better than I have at home! The Roku guest account provided a nice way to unwind after hiking and exploring. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook and eat most meals for the week as a family of five. We had a wonderful family vacation!! Thank you.

Peaceful and relaxing

Our stay was great. Watched the sunrise over the lake every morning while sitting on the deck with our coffee. Property managers Chase and Megan were wonderful. Brought us a new fire pit since the one there had to be taken apart recently. The guys caught a few catfish. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again.
