My stay at Red Roof was ok. I could not say it was exceptional because of the condition of the room. The towels were very worn out. The toilet looked dirty but wasn't. It had an unpleasant smell. The bed was uncomfortable but it was an OK stay.

Coffee was served cold each morning amd there is no way to make your own in your room. We had hair in our towels, but they were very kind and rushed us new ones. Be prepared though, NO elevators.

Pet friendly, nice staff that allowed us to check in early. Best of all no hidden fees no deposit required and was allowed to pay cash. Will return when visiting again.

While this property is older, it was clean. They have old property issues that if you tell them, they jump on fixing them, but there were a few. Electric sockets next to sinks don't work, our electric key didn't lock our room, door between rooms was difficult to lock, fire alarm was beeping, ice machine wasn't working all the time. But we went down and told them, and they fixed these things immediately. My husband fixed the ice machine most of the time with the reset button trick. But they made up for it by having their pool still be open when others were closed. It was in the 90's and our tubing excursion was a no-show so we hung around the pool instead. It is within walking distance to restaurants and the stadium.

We arrived at the hotel and there was a wet spot in the middle of the room where I slipped and luckily did not fall, I was able to catch myself. We were not able to dry it up because we were only given 3 bath towels for 4 people, 1 wash cloth that we used as a hand towel and 1 bath mat. Breakfast was minimal. The room never got cold enough and when we asked for one extra towel since we were 4 people, we were told they did not have any extras. The beds were hard to sleep in because they were too firm.

Lots need to be updated or deep cleaned. When we first arrived we had to change one of our rooms because it smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke. The lamp shades were dirty/stained. The beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. It was like laying on springs and the pillows were old and flat. There was a large live cockroach in one of my rooms. They advertised free “continental” breakfast. There wasn’t hardly anything and they ran out of stuff.
