- Guest house infested with fleas. Realized after my fiance and I dropped off our bags inside and had FLEAS ALL OVER OUR LEGS.
- 1 of the 3 rooms in main house was filthy and had mysterious stains on mattress (however house keeping cleaned this after I called and I was very grateful)
- Had to accommodate by buying air mattresses bc guests had already arrived and we had already set up dinner for our guests
- 1 of only 2 toilets began overflowing and had to be shut off manually
- 4 toilet paper rolls for 11 people over 3 days!
It was 9pm by the time I spoke on the phone with someone and given the option to relocate but it was too late. I had already spent money on air mattresses, everyone was there, dinner was served, I was told we would receive compensation for the troubles. I’ve reached out 4 times and received texts saying “Management has been notified… they will be in touch with you this week.” Well its about to be 3 weeks since we were there and I have yet to speak with someone about the compensation.
Dirty. Unreliable. The place looks like it needed an upgrade 10 years ago. The stove vent and light is made for a 7ft tall giant, several roaches inside, fleas,
not enough towels, broken toilet, not enough toilet paper, a single 3oz bottle of dish soap, low water pressure, yellow ice in freezer.
