「Wow! What an incredible stay i had in the YURT, I could not fault it one bit, the couple who run this site are so so lovely and i can’t thank them enough for being so accommodating, the room itself was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed, the hot tub was just such a perfect addition to the night. The games room was great fun and such a good thing for all ages. Thankyou so much for making our night so special, we will definitely be back !!!」

「We have stayed there before and wanted to return. It was so worth it. Nice room and wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and drink. I even had pancakes and the grill was broken! I had them two years ago and they were the best in Scotland so the owner made sure they could make them again!! They even recognized us (two traveling couples) from two years ago! Such amiable people! Five stars!!」

「Great place to stay ! Quiet. Excellent restaurant. no issues with parking. The best part was the staff. They were warm and helpful. The views from the room of the farm and animals made our day. Two days of a very memorable stay.」

「The room was clean. However, we stayed 4 nights and never had a housekeeping visit. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee replenishment. The other issue i had was the fact people were smoking very close to the entrance and the lobby smelled of cigarettes. The front desk staff were warm and helpful.」

「The only drawback to the hotel is the lack of reception area. You check in at the bar. Breakfast was included and was excellent (I had smoked haddock cooked in milk with a poached egg). We arrived late and the staff were prepared for our arrival. The sea view was lovely too.」

「Room dirty , no remote for tv No breakfast in morning even though we were charged for breakfast,no one available at all in the morning,tried calling the phone number supplied but no answer , finally got the manager at 12oclkck midday ,told them about my issues and they did not care in the slightest ,told me to contact hotels .com ,absolutely disgusting behaviour customer service zero . Do not recommend this place to anyone . 」

「This has an amazing restaurant,staff very knowledgeable and very friendly, food excellent, very homely pub also and friendly people,hotel room excellent and clean , we had dogs with us and they were warmly welcomed also , can take dogs in bar but not restaurant which is not a problem at all ,excellent location with great parking ,highly recommended and we will be back ,dinner in evening great selection of locally sourced produce , and also breakfast in the morning amazing . 」

「The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental.」
