They should upgrade the hotel with new bed quilts and proper pillows. Though the paid breakfast is a generous variety, they should provide facilities in rooms to make hot drinks. The need to ensure the kettle has enough cable to reach the power supply. The receptionist was friendly and approachable. The hotel is in a handy location for the train station and buses. There are nice walks into the forest. Very limited dining options.

We loved our stay. The location was beautiful and the hotel staff made things so nice for our family. Pros: location, view, restaurant, bar was terrific, amusement park across the street, restaurant with kids menu, easy access to town with the funicular, beautiful hiking trail to the castle, the restaurant manager was so nice and accommodating Cons:funicular had very long lines going back to the hotel (over 1 1/2 wait with toddlers), a fast pass for hotel guests would have been awesome, we ended up paying 80 euros for the rides during our stay, no outside playground for kids or even a place to run around, breakfast was ok but not worth the 100 euros for 4 days. The hotel seemed to charge for everything. We paid extra for a room with a sofa bed and then were charged 30 euros a night for sheets and a pillow?? They charged for water, coffee , milk for the baby, onsite parking Having said this, we loved the hotel and the staff and would recommend it!
