Retro family idyll in Kappishäusern - nature vacation in the Swabian Alb

  • Welcome to our vacation rental in Kappishäusern, a small Swabian town surrounded by nature—the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and relax in peace and quiet.

With its 1960s and 1970s accents, our vacation rental offers the perfect blend of retro charm and modern comfort. It’s fully equipped so you can feel right at home.

    The following amenities are available:
    - a bedroom with a double bed
    - a bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together if needed
    - a sleeper sofa in the living room
    - a fully equipped kitchen
    - a small bathroom with a wheelchair-accessible shower

Kappishäusern—“simply more sun”—that’s the town’s motto. Perched high above, you’ll not only enjoy the fresh air here but also a magnificent panoramic view in every direction. The Jusiberg, located right on your doorstep, invites you to take a short hike—and rewards you with even more beautiful views. Who knows—maybe you’ll even come across a few goats or sheep along the way, or a couple of chickens might cross your path; you can conveniently buy your breakfast egg just a few meters further on at a small “farm stand.”

In addition, you’ll find shopping options in the area, such as Aldi and Edeka in Dettingen (3 minutes away), as well as authentic Greek cuisine at the sports restaurant “Zum Hahn” in Kappishäusern.

If you’re in the mood for shopping, Outlet City Metzingen is just a few minutes away by car—the perfect place for an extended shopping spree (and, of course, to snag a famous “bargain”).

A hike to the Bad Urach waterfalls, a visit to the beautiful old town of Tübingen, a stroll through the vineyards at sunset… There are numerous places to visit in the surrounding area. We’d be happy to provide you with some ideas at our vacation rental.

Our vacation rental is ideal for:

    - Families who want to experience nature while remaining flexible
    - Couples looking for a quiet getaway or a combination of shopping and relaxation
    - Hiking enthusiasts who want to explore the Swabian Alb

We look forward to your visit to Kappis!
    The Ha Family

The owner communicates very quickly on any questions you may have. The kitchen and bathroom are the stand out rooms in this apartment, they are well equipped and all appliances work like new. The apartment is in a quiet area and the tenants upstairs are very quiet. We would stay here again on our next trip to Germany.
