"My husband & I took two of our grandchildren 20F and 16M on a trip before they became to wrapped up in life, to places that meant something to them. Northern Germany was one. This VRBO was a great location. We were able to access so many cities and other countries so easily. Locally, gas stations, groceries and other amenities are close by. The house is lovely and well taken care of, decorated in a country/ farm style. The owners are delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Love that it's right on the lake and only 5 minutes walk to the market square. Lovely park by the water. 9 minutes walk from the Bad Zwischenahn train station. Mattress is sunken and there's no air conditioning. It was cool when I was there and the sliding doors let in very cool breeze. Bathroom fan not working!"

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, sehr freundliche und sich kümmernde Gastgeber. Wer im Ammerland oder Ostfriesland Urlaub machen möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Übrigens im nahe gelegenen Vogelschutzgebiet kann man hervorragend Vögel beobachten. Ich habe sogar zwei Seeadler gesehen."

We did not have breakfast so I do not know what to expect, but the room was clean, had A/C and was very comfortable. Basic amenities were there. Front staff were all very helpful and friendly, and spoke to us in English as we could not speak German. Easy walk to the station or the bus is quite convenient as well."
