Room was sufficient in terms of clean towels, sheets and floors. AC was housed in a cabinet to cut down on noise which was nice. Walls were thick enough so we didn’t hear other guests. Hallway carpets were not vacuumed and extremely dirty. A $100 refundable security deposit was required which isn’t actually refunded for 3-5 working days which was not great. We were extremely tired after driving all day, hot shower and firm beds made it an ok stay for the low price. Hope my deposit gets refunded without needing to take any action or follow up.
Check-in experience itself was nice. Lady was pleasant and cheerful on arrival. Then got to assigned room and it was hot, reading 83 and the ceiling fan was not working. Went back to front desk and was told most of fans "not working" and we could "turn the AC down to 58 and it would cool off." Set on 65 b/c of sign on AC controls that said if placed lower than 65, it would be hot. Never did cool off in the room below 75 and only after opening the window to get the cool night air. Thank goodness we travel with a turbo fan! Floor on the BR floor w/ panels that buckled under your feet and loose spacing. Would not recommend this hotel; especially in the summer!
Got checked in. ac was already on and set to 62° and was 80° in the room. Sticker on ac said don’t turn under 65° or you’ll be hot. So we turned it up and left to be with family got back 4 hours later with our 3 kids and room was still 80°. Went to staff and was told to turn ac off and on and see if it changes or they could change us rooms. We did and ac went up to 81°… didn’t want to waste time moving to another room for it likely to not work either as hotel was disgusting as it was through out and run down! Dont waste your money if you want a cheap hotel stay we highly recommend Safari motel down on main! We stayed there before and that’s were we ended up last night! Also kind of odd for motel 6 to have a sign starting “no refunds” they know there rooms are crap!
The hotel seemed clean. It was run down and old-Noticeably. It also has a very strong smell, the pool was out of order and breakfast is coffee, tea or hot cocoa.
The staff were all very friendly. For one night passing through it was okay.
For the 3rd time was told the pool was working but upon arrival it again was not. One of the main amenities we look for. Bathroom door would not latch. Shower was slanted and bowing and very unsafe for someone with balance issues. My granddaughter almost fell as well. Fridge leaked. Air conditioner was not working properly. Kids and people running around and screaming at midnight for almost an hour as well as dogs fighting in hall. Experiences used to be overall good but the last 2 or 3 times we have stayed i feel maintenance and cleanliness has deteriorated.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The bathroom floor panels had gotten wet at one time. Since this establishment is under a business warranty they should have been replaced before anyone should be allowed to use this room again.
Past life, property maintenance so I noticed a lot more than I am reporting. Paint, wall board, lighting.
About 10:30 there were noises from the room above us. This went on for almost 30 minutes then it settled down. Was about ready to get dressed and go complain to the management earlier but too tired to get dressed. Almost like who ever was up was wrestling and stomping on the floor. I am quite sure they could have been heard from other adjoining rooms. Word of advice, since it was a slow night, stager rooms, so there are no one in adjoining or above you pounding on the floor.
Not enough electrical hookups close to the bed stand. Maybe, I did not look. This is from my wife who said so.
Offer USB connections for electronic devises. Notice the word connections as being plural.
Offer a shampoo bottle. There was soap, no shampoo.
Only thing offered in the morning for food was in the overpriced vending machines. Nothing you would call breakfast food. You had coffee, tea and ice for free.
Even a contentional breakfast would be something.
Staff was nice enough but what ever she was doing in the back room. It took her a couple of minutes before she came to help me out. Most likely glued the cell.
Beds were comfy.
Remember, We'll leave the light on but helping you will take a longer
This hotel is not well maintained. Our first room had a shattered window, curtains falling down and plumbing issues (toilet not flushing). We were then moved to another room where the tub faucet was not secure. When we pulled the diverter knob, the whole faucet came with it. It did seem clean, but just needs some repair and upgrading. The staff was nice.
