Nothing on Hotel.com prepares you for the fact that you need to book in to another hotel's reception nor that when you try to do so the receptionist will deny knowing anything about the procedure. Nor will you know that, when you phone the hotel, they will sigh in exasperation that you cannot speak German and that they will be pretty rude to you. "Lovely family Hotel. We were very satisfied. Room was clean, with A/C. Beds were comfortable in an historical style. The hotel is a bit older, but that adds to its charm and impression. We liked the breakfast and absolutelly everything. We recomended it with all 10 fingers :)"

"The hotel Centrum was delightful. The ladies running the place, bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. It was located within walking distance of everything, including a festival in the lower town, which we viewed from our balcony. You enter from the backside of the building and the reception is on the first floor. Don’t let that bother you!"

"As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again."
