Negril Watershed Environmental Protection Area

The villa was clean and well appointed. There was comfortable space for four adults though the lounge became somewhat cramped when the fifth adult arrived. There was a sense of safety and security at all times, which was welcome. Everything worked! Though rather removed from the beach there was easy access nonetheless. Other amenities were a short drive away. The corner deli, Scotchies for jerk delights and the petrol station. The highway and Ocho Rios proper were also easily accessible.

my family and I had a wonderful week here! We loved the food, the pool activities, how passionate the staff were and of course the lovely scenery & weather of jamaica!

The resort was beautiful, clean, and the serving staff were amazing. It was my first time visiting Jamaica, and I was not pleased. My sleep was interrupted the very first night at 1 a.m. by a knock at the door from security. There was a report of a “noise complaint.” The room was practically silent with just a faint sound from the television, as I was asleep. Since the do not disturb indicator was on, the front desk had to ring the room to allow security access. That was disturbing. It took a while for me to fall back asleep. Remind you the room was located near the outside wall of the resort, so as soon as the door was opened, I could hear music blaring from outside. Yet, our room received the complaint. I moved on from that. Only for it to happen again the second night. This time I was in the tub and it was 11 p.m. apparently music from the cell phone was “disturbing” to the neighbor. Once again the phone rang because the do not disturb indicator was on. This time 3 security persons were at the door. I went to the front desk a second time to express my concerns with only having been there 2 nights. I felt blown off as they advised someone would reach out to me. No one did. I went to the desk the following day. Guest Services did not seem interested in my grievances and said we can “try” to move you to a different room or you can keep your room and we will investigate. They sent fruit and a 2024 bottle of dry red wine to the room. Another room was never the intention.
