Best Cost Performance

ご主人様日本語ペラペラ!色々教えていただき大変助かった Our flight arrived around 10PM, after picking up rental car we arrived late in the night. The master came out and gave us a big welcome. Since we only stay for 6 hours so I didn't choose very expensive place but the result is, this place is over our expection! The room is big, comfortable, clean and neat(^^) Breakfast is of good portion, good taste suitable for foreigners. The most amazing thing is master can speak English, Chinese and Japanese! His Japanese is so fluent and helped us a lot I stayed in Sri Lanka for 8 days and will leave tomorrow. This place is so impressed. thank you Sunrise Palace (≧∇≦)b

Nice stay

スリランカ初旅行、深夜到着と不安でしたが、予約の段階からピックアップどうするかとメールいただいたり（英語、料金は15ドル、ルピーでも支払い可能）当日飛行機が遅れて到着してもタクシーの運転手さんちゃんと待っててくれたし（名前ボードあり）オーナーも起きて待っててくれたし、しかも部屋は広いし、綺麗だし、そして周りは住宅地なので静かだし！翌朝の朝食もフルーツてんこもりで最高でした。宿からネゴンボのバスターミナルまで追加料金払いましたが送っていただきました。オーナーは日本に住んでいたということで日本語ペラペラです。カップラーメン買ってきてもらえばよかったと言ってましたwまたスリランカに来る際は一番に寄らせていただきたいと思います。不安な人や、静かな所がいい方はここに泊まるのをおすすめします。

値段相応のホテル。

値段相応のホテル。アメニティは固形石鹸のみなのでシャンプー等持参が必要。空港近くだが入り組んだ住宅街の中にあるためタクシー運転手が迷いに迷ってかなり時間がかかってしまった。場所はわかりにくく不便。スタッフの方が日本語流暢。

スリランカで大好きになったホテル

スリランカに到着した時に２泊し、空港に近いので、出発する時にも１泊しました。清潔で部屋も広く、手入れされた庭もあり、居心地が良いホテルで大好きになりました。出発する日はフライトの都合で夕方７時まで延長してもらいました。少し追加のお金は支払いましたが、庭でお茶を頂きながら、植木のライトアップを楽しんだり、最後まで気持ちよく過ごす事ができました。

空港から近くて、快適なホテル。

空港から車で20分ぐらいなので、空港に遅く到着しても、ゆっくり休めます。部屋は清潔で、気持ちよく過ごせました。朝食も美味しく、デザートの、たくさんのフルーツがうれしかったです。オーナーが日本語を話せるので、何かと安心です。

延泊しちゃった。

ニゴンボに位置する宿。深夜に空港着で、タクシーを使って２０分くらい、1400ルピーで着いた。住宅地に位置していて周りには何もないが、宿は広くて綺麗。オーナー夫妻は日本語が喋れるので有難く、トゥクトゥクを手配してくれたり、聞きたい事があれば気軽に話せる。少しバスルームに匂いがあるが、ドアを閉めれば部屋には入ってこない。朝食もたっぷりで美味しい。Wi-Fiも快適。スタッフも良い人たち。

空港からすぐに行ける、とてもきれいな宿

到着が深夜でしたが、Uberを利用したため安心して宿までたどり着けました。バンダラナイケ国際空港から10〜15分ほどの距離でした。オーナーは長い間、日本で働いていたので、非常に日本語が堪能で、お部屋も広々としており、安心して利用できます。奥さんや子どもたちと同じ敷地内に住んでいて、いつでも安心して呼ぶこともでき、人柄もとても信頼できるオーナーさんでした。お庭もきれいに手入れされており、気持ち良い旅のスタートをきることができます。初めてのスリランカや、旅程や移動の仕方などなどいろいろ知りたいことがある方は、最初の1〜2泊ここに泊まり、相談するのもよいかもしれません。

初めてでも落ち着いて過ごせます satisfied price hotel

2016年4月上旬に宿泊しました。国際空港から３０分くらいの住宅街にあり、少し見つけ難いですがTaxiやtuku-tukuなどを使えば探して連れて行ってくれると思います。使用した１Fの部屋は広く、室内もリネン類も清潔に保たれていました。南国のため時々イモリなどの小さな生き物がいるのはご愛敬です。敷地内の庭もきれいに手入れされており、大変気持ちよく過ごせました。他の方もおっしゃっているように、オーナーさんは日本での滞在経験もあるそうで日本語を解されるので、スリランカ初日でも安心して相談したり、滞在できると思いました。 We stayed in April. This hotel is about 30 minutes from an international airport. It's a little difficult to find for a residential area . but I think you'll look for it when using Taxi or tuku - tuku. We used 1F room. It was wide, and linens were kept cleanly. A garden was also cared for beautifully, so we could have time very comfortably. Hotel's owner (& family？）was kind　and friendly,　so we stayed comfortable in Sri Lanka first day.

とても居心地の良い場所

バンダラナイケ国際空港から車で30分しないくらいの所にあります。空港まで迎えに来てもらったところバン1台で20ドルでした。（ルピーでも払えます）オーナー夫妻は以前日本に住んでいた事があり、日本語が話せます。とても友好的で親切で責任感があり、急な要求にも対応してくれました。ホテルは街の喧噪から離れた静かな所にありました。近くにレストランなどは無いのでトゥクトゥクが必要ですがオーナーに言えばすぐに手配してくれます。部屋は新しく、とても清潔に保たれていました。２日目に掃除がなかったのは残念でしたが、他の宿泊施設でも掃除はなかったのでスリランカでは高級ホテル以外はこうなのかもしれません。タオルやトイレットペーパーなど言えば持って来てくれるので問題なかったです。静かで清潔で素敵なオーナー家族のいたこのホテルはスリランカ滞在中一番印象に残っている場所の一つです。またスリランカを訪れる機会があったら必ずこちらを訪れたいと思います。

Best Hotel I've Stayed in Sri Lanka

The boss of hotel is a very kind man. Everything is perfect and the hotel service is even better than imagined. We enjoy the stay experience so much and shall definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay around the Colombo airport.

Erg fijne service, we kwamen pas aan om 22:30 we werden goed ontvangen door sindhu. Er werd zelfs zolaat nog eten en drinken voor ons geregeld en in de ochtend stond er een onbijtje voor ons klaar echt een aanrader

Sunrise palace hotel recommended

This place is located is little far from beach park but everything is accessible by uber & pickme app. Place is very quite, peaceful & environment friendly. Hotel area as well as rooms are spacious.i like the place. They serve continental breakfast which is just point for me because i am pure veg but food quality is good & hygienic.there are many restaurant nearby for veg as well as for non veg individuals.I got veg Indian food Nearby . Overall i will recommend this place to everyone

Lovely people who were very helpful! Good clean basic accommodation and breakfast. They are next to a small river so make sure to bring mosquito spray. My prebooked taxi to the airport cancelled at the last minute and the hotel owner very kindly stepped in and took me to the airport himself.

Great for one night

This hotel is beautiful, large room but very basic and about 20 minutes from the airport. I needed it for a 1 night, so it was fine. Omelette and toast and fresh fruit for breakfast were great. However my reservation indicated 30% off of dinner. When I asked about it, I was told that I could order in... Don't expect bells and whistles, just a small bar of soap on the sink. I had a desk with no chair. I had to pay cash for the airport transfer (no credit cards accepted), but the front desk person did not have cash so I ended up paying more without getting correct change...

The place was really nice. big spacious room and clean bathroom. The only thing - we were unlucky to hear a loud music from the outside till 2.a.m. Don't know if it was a night club near by. We spend one night on our way to the airport. Great location. Near to the beach and only 30-40 minutes to the airport.

A bit out of the way but a quiet location.

The pre arranged hotel pick up from the airport was missed by the hotel. I eventually hired a taxi that struggled to find it as it is out of the way. Although staff were pleasant, the staff member who greeted me could have provided more information regarding where to purchase food and/or eating places, attractions etc. An apology was made for the mix up by the manager.

Small hotel with excellent services and breakfast

We checked in at mid-night and their staff are there waiting for. Also enquiry response was also excellent. By the way, breakfast was excellent with local fruit and juices.

Super stay.

Stayed here for one night. Beautifully clean room. Lovely owner who was very helpful. His wife cooks a great Sri Lankan chilli omelette. A great choice.

Pleasant stay

The owner arranged pick up at the airport which is close, when we arrived at 2 am. He also arranged the same nice driver to take us to Kandy the following day, at short notice. Clean, spacious room and clean bathroom. Quiet area with a lovely garden. Great service and great value for money.

Lovely quiet hotel

Great hotel for a get away, just out of Main Negombo but not too far, walkable or 150-200 in a tuktuk, these can be ordered using Pick Me Sri Lanka app. Hotel was lovely, big rooms and great breakfast.

Superb value for a night

We landed in Colombo around 02:00 in the night and had sent an email to the hotel before to arrange for a pickup. The pickup arrived as planned when. The check-in was easy and quick. The helpful person that greeted us when we came showed us how everything works in the room and was genuinely helpful. The room, which was in the ground floor just by the check-in-counter was really big. It consisted of two large rooms and a bathroom. There were also a balcony. The bedroom had aircondition and the bed was good. Given what we expected and what we paid, the value was very good.

Personal and comfy

Saminda (hope I got it right) and his family welcomed us with open arms when we arrived in the evening. His wife cooked us a delicious (and spicy) dinner and also served a nice breakfast in the morning, including fruits grown in his own garden! Their mangos were the best we've had! Also clean room, comfy bed and well functioning AC. What we really enjoyed was the personal touch, meeting the whole family and get a feeling for the local tradition and cuisine.

깔끔,온수 잘 나오고 와이파이 빠르고 오너 아저씨 친절하심.

숙소에 대해 기대를 안하고 갔는데 기대 이상으로 깔끔하고 오너도 친절하고, 우려했던 모기도 방안에는 없어서 편안하게 하룻밤 묵고 다음 행선지로 이동했네요. 오너 아저씨가 사는 집 바로 옆 마당에 호텔 건물을 지어서 사시는 듯 했어요. 수압 괜찮고 온수 잘 나오는 편이지만 제가 배정 받았던 1층 방 화장실 세면대가 배수가 안되서 샤워부스에서 양치질해야 하는 불편함이 있긴 했지만 화장실이 전체적으로 깔끔해서 커버가 됐어요. 혹시 다음에 가게 된다면 다시 묵고 싶은 곳이예요. 오너 아저씨가 다음 행선지를 물으시고는 자기 차로 버스 터미널까지 드랍 해주겠다고 제안했는데 가격이 비싼것 같아 거절을 했는데 나중에 적정 가격이었음을 알고 후회 했어요. 생각보다 터미널이 멀리 위치해 있더라구요. 밤늦게 공항에 도착해서 택시를 타고 호텔까지 이동했는데 기사님은 호텔 주소만 가지고는 위치를 잘 모르더라구요. 전화번호를 꼭 기사님에게 보여 주고 호텔측과 직접 통화해서 위치를 파악하도록 하세요. 공항에서 호텔까지 삐끼가 10달러 부르길래 타고 갔는데 기사님이 25달러 달라고 협박. 그냥 쌩까고 10달러만 주고 내렸어요. 삐끼 무시하고 사람들 많이 줄서서 기다려서 타는 택시 잡아 타고 가세요.

Lovely, friendly family and nice clean rooms

A very nice place to stay. Room was clean and breakfast was really good. Saminda was very flexible when we asked for breakfast later than normal, and there was no problem checking out a little later either. All in all a very good experience. Can recommend it.

Near Negombo beach, close to airport

We stayed at Sunrise Palace for two reasons. We wanted to go to the beach strip and eat at a nice restaurant. We also wanted to stay near the airport because we had an early morning flight back home. The owners are very friendly and generous folks. They made us feel welcome and served us a superb breakfast. They also arranged a vehicle for our airport drop-off at 2 AM. Sunrise Palace is a nice, quiet and clean little hotel located in a residential area a couple of minutes walk from the main road. It looks new and the facilities are in excellent condition. There's a small but lovely garden outside which we also enjoyed from the balcony in our room. The room is quite large and is nicely lit. The bed is comfortable and we had a good sleep. I would like to point out to the owners that they should try to control the small ants that get into the rooms. I usually don't mind ants or even the odd spider or wall lizard in the room but these small ants were extremely aggressive. We made the mistake of leaving some fruit and sweets in plastic bags on the table and the ants were swarming into them when we woke up. Overall this is a very convenient and lovely place run by wonderful owners.

Convenient for airport, super helpful owner!

Owner was SUPER helpful, printing a bunch of documents for us, arranging ride to airport. They gave us lots of bottled water for no charge.

Friendly Staff and Owner

The hotel was further away from the airport. During mid day traffic might take about 25 minutes from the airport. Owner and staff are very helpful. Clean rooms except the toilet emits a stench. Not sure if that was only in my room.
