You're paying for location
The vibe of the room was nice, but everything had a very cheap feel to it. The "waterfront view" shown in the listing was actually a view of a active construction site. The walls were paper thin and we were awoken to people doing work a few houses down. Heard every word and footstep from the neighbors. The bed was hard as a rock. The shower was very small, but the water pressure was good. The fishing pier was top notch, there's nothing bad to say about it. And the proximity to the pier, beach, and seashore are all huge pro's.Overall, I do not feel like the quality of the rental justified the price. However, if you're just worried about having somewhere to sleep while you're out and about, its not too bad.
