Great place for families on a budget.

We discovered Sugar Beach in 2021 and love the condos. We have stayed three different times and it’s a great place for a family on a budget. The condos are clean and quiet and have always been exactly as described. It’s a very short walking distance to the beach ( few hundred feet) I do recommend bringing your own toilettes as a very small amount is provided. It would be nice to get more than one days worth on trash bags and soap but not really something to complain about as long as you know and are prepared. Bring your own oils to cook with also. We will return!

My stay

When we arrived, our check in code did not work. I had to call Vacasa and try several different codes before we finally got in. We loved the place, it looked as advertised and was at a great location. Unfortunately, cable guys showed up every day to work on the cable boxes. They weren’t unpleasant, but we didn’t anticipate their arrival. The whole experience was great and I would go back.

Winter Retreat

This was a perfect stay close to the beach with everything you may need. We had some great times with family during this stay. It was perfect for our time there.

Not on the beach, short walk

Thought I was in the beach, but I was literally on the road, it’s the only complaint, they do have some on the beach but it wasn’t mine, very deceiving in the description

Quick beach trip

We loved the beach and location of the property but there was a bug issue in the kitchen especially when trying to cook , they would come out I contacted rental company said they would have it taken care of

Good location but roach infested

Property look like a flip. Little roaches everywhere. First saw them on the kitchen table, kitchen sink, then crawling on the walls. Property did not look clean, needs to be deep cleaned. On the way out a roach was crawling up the wall. Contacted the property manager twice about the roaches said they were going to send pest control but never did. Refrigerator was leaking contacted property management I was told maintenance would come look at it they never showed up. It’s a shame because it is really close walking distance to the beach, not crowed and quiet. Now I’m afraid I’ll be bringing back roaches home with me. Will not recommend or or stay again.

Great Area, Needs Slight Improvements

This as a great location to have a nice and quiet beach vacation. It was not too crowded, but we were only a short drive from stores and food chains across the bridge. My friends and I really enjoyed the restaurants that were in a walking distance (towards the bridge). We received spectacular service everywhere we went. This townhouse is in an HOA and has a few rules about quiet hours, but it did not really bother us. The only issue that we had at this location was the cleanliness. When we walked in we did not really notice anything super dirty. However, when we were playing a round of uno on the living room floor we noticed trash had been stuffed under one of the couches. A little later one of my friends was about to start unpacking when she found a pair of undergarments stuffed between the bed and the wall. We know for certain that it did not belong to any of us. The next day, we found a roach in one of the kitchen drawers. Other than these issues, we had a great time at this location.

Senior trip for seniors

Enjoyed our girls getaway. Great access to the beach. Condo very comfortable. Only thing i missed was seeing the beach from the condo.

Excellent stay. Great location. Safe quiet neighborhood. We got there early and were anxious to get to the beach. Doors didnt unlock until 30 minutes beyond check in. Other than that it was amazing. The umbrella and beach chairs at the beach included in the stay was an added bonus.

Great Location, Great Beach, Small Water Heater

We loved the location and the beach. The condo was very roomy for us and had the perfect number of beds. However the hide a bed was broken so we couldn't use it. We also had a problem with the water heater and were told it would be fixed and no one ever came. The hot was was sparse and intermittent. If we tried using both showers at the same time they were instantly cold. It was very nice to have 2.5 bathrooms. Both bedrooms are upstairs and have a private bathroom and then there is a half bath down stairs. We didn't realize we were working with a property management and not a home owner. They were fine but we would prefer an owner because they tend to be more personable and responsive. We liked having two marked parking stops in front our door and the shower head and hose to rinse off as well on the front porch. We did have one incident of a guy parked in our second spot rolling weed in his car, made us a little nervous but never felt unsafe.

Really needs to reconsider & give tlc

We are locals so really we know this isn't the norm. The condo was not cleaned like we believe it should have or could have been. I would Be upset if I wasnt A local & showed up to this condo. Outdated & not cleaned well AT ALL. The bedroom with 3 beds was missing 2 feet so it was literally a see saw. I'd recommend not booking for a few months & giving some much needed updates and a deep clean. Also some pest control would probably be a good idea, this condo has a lot of potential. We have stayed in the one right next door & it was great! Just really clean it up & update
