"Absolut kolmörkt vid ankomst på kvällen och svårt att hitta entrén. Fanns ingen restaurang som uppgivits, närmast var en pizzeria ca 4 km därifrån. Kändes som en turistfälla, med vackra bilder och många fina ord som dock inte uppfylldes. Kan ej rek denna vistelse. "

"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). It is basically a private house offering rooms and a basic breakfast- not a hotel… it’s very much like taking an Air BnB room. The owner is a character but speaks virtually no...

"small, dark,.... it didn't even have an elevator to go up to the second floor... a horrible hotel"

"The location is excellent. We arrived early evening so parked for free on road outside by the castle. Next morning, 9am, we paid we paid €10 for 6hrs at the meter. Reception guy was friendly and helpful. Suggested places to eat and areas to explore. Hotel is not modern or spacious, but has character and a nice change from the usual chain hotels."
