Everything about this place was what you’d expect for the best price. As a former electrician though, fix your outlets, the wrongful death lawsuits are never worth it.

Dirty and filthy. We asked for nonsmoking room because of asthma the rooms had been smoked in and holes burnt in the bed covering we did not stay. and now cant get a refund after being defrauded by both Expedia and and the hotel. Staff lied about full refund.

The bed sqeaked horribly - even squeaking while walking around the room. Overall the place is clean. No roaches, but woke up to a random fly, spider and another weird bug dead on the sink.

Motel 6 NOT PET FRIENDLY IN WHITE HOUSE TN!!!!!!! Ruined my trip. I drove 8 1/2 hours from Savannah GA to see my 93 year old father. I had to bring my tiny 7 lb dog. Website says pet friendly. Only AFTER getting to the motel I was told that I can’t EVER leave her unattended. If I leave the room she HAS to go with me. This completely ruined my trip. Couldn’t do ANYTHING with family, no going out to eat, no going anywhere, nothing. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable that this is not conveyed to the guest until they arrive with the dog. Motel 6 guest relations and the White House TN location blamed me, the guest, for not checking the corporate website and refuse to accept any responsibility or do anything about this. Why would I go to the corporate website instead of the White House TN website? That’s where I was going, not to Motel 6 corporate!!! And the pet policy on the White House site says NOTHING about having to be with the dog 24/7. Neither does Expedia. Horrible communication, horrible desk clerks and customer service, and horrible response from guest relations. I know I’m not the only one because a man I ran into in the parking lot with his dog didn’t know until he got there either, so who knows how many people have been blindsided and inconvenienced. Also the floor was filthy with black scuff marks, no microwave, phone didn’t work, toilet had feces marks in it, musty smell, overall horrible experience.

The convenience options - Hardees, Convenience store, and backway out of the property (I was biking) made it a good choice. The bed was acceptable - no noise issues. Price point was acceptable for the length of stay. The cleaning room lady was kind and told me to leave the curtain open so she could know when to clean.

Fleabag motel
Bare floor, 1 tiny chair in corner with no cushion, both beds were noisy sounded like you were jumping on a bed every time you moved and they were extremely uncomfortable. Wall outlets broken. Hole in bedspread. My 11 y/o grandson said the bed hurt his back so you know they were bad. Dingey looking walls. Floor in bathroom had dirt around edges and a cute little centipede crawling in the middle of the floor. Pool permanently closed. We left at 3 AM because it was so gross!! I should have taken a pic. Honestly I don’t know how this motel had a 7.2 rating. I needed a good night sleep after driving 8 hours. Disappointed and need a chiropractor for my back after sleeping on a slab !!

The guy who checked me in an out was super nice. The girl who worked Friday night was nasty. I asked to get clean towels since they did not come clean the room or give clean towels both days I was there and she said “if you want clean towels you have to come and get em. I can’t leave the office. The property was not that big that she couldn’t have run them down real quick. The guest should not have to do this. Phone didn’t work either to even call front desk, I used my cell. I won’t be going back here.

The overall experience was decent, the staff was very friendly and they gave me great Customer Service. The only problems were two that can be fixed. First thing, the Indian Gentleman assigned to clean the rooms needs to reminded to take showers on a regular basis. Simply put, he smelled bad! Additionally, the toilet seat was very loose in #107. But as I mentioned those things can be fixed.

Very nice girl at desk. Tons of restaurants nearby. Bathroom could be cleaner, but nothing horrible. Great for just passing through.
