Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! This property offers a peaceful setting on 13 acres where you can enjoy watching wildlife, playing in the creek, fishing, floating or canoeing the Harpeth River on the property, or having a quaint bonfire with friends! This property offers so much while being so close to all Franklin and Nashville have to offer. 10 minutes to Historic Downtown Franklin. Come visit this peaceful setting while exploring all Nashville has to offer! You may even receive a visit from our friendly outdoor cat, Maddie!

The location of the property was literally 10 to 20 minutes from shopping, dining, theaters, and historical sites. Communication with the host was easy and straight forward... the property was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Loved the expansive porch!

Relaxing and Comfortable

We very much enjoyed our week at Franklin's Best Hideaway and would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area. The beds are comfortable with nice linens, and the shower was awesome. We cooked in several nights and appreciated the well equipped kitchen and gas grill. The porch was our favorite spot! If you're looking for a relaxing, private, peaceful setting this is the perfect place.

Best rental ever!

Amazing rental. It was super clean with so many small, but important, touches (a Keurig, detergent, makeup remover, shampoo, hair dryer). The property was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do in Franklin and Nashville. And, can we talk about all the fun animals we got to enjoy? Cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, donkeys….we didn’t want to come back home!

Perfect Location for relaxing

The place was perfect for our 2 couples. Conveniently located close to all the family we were visiting. Shops & things were close by. We enjoyed a rainy weekend on the covered porch spending time w/ the friendly cat Maddie. Being able to park under the lean to was much appreciated since it was raining most of our stay. The scenery was inviting and the house was thoughtfully laid out w/ all that we might need. We would most definitely opt to stay there again.

Easy, clean, communicated well, beds are comfy, kitchen has all needs (didnt find a cutting board was all) and the perfect access to the Franklin hotspots or Hwy to Nash. Thank you for having WiFi & YouTubeTV.

Peaceful Retreat

I came to Franklin‘s Best Hideaway for a brief writing retreat between business trips. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the comfort of the bed to the luxuriousness of the shower to the beauty of the surroundings! I didn’t leave the property! The kitchen was well appointed, and I lacked for nothing for preparing my simple meals. The property was beautiful and I enjoyed walking down to check out the creek and the river. And the porch! Oh my goodness! I worked inside, but I relaxed on that fabulous porch. Anything you could imagine was supplied by the owners, and although the Hideaway is on the their property, it felt completely separate/private from them. I really wish I could’ve spent more time, but I feel refreshed and relaxed and so grateful for their attention to every detail!

Beautiful Country Stay

My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at “Franklin’s Best Hideaway”. The home was so inviting and had a cozy feel to it from the decor to the big pillows on the bed to the fluffy bath towels. We spent every morning and early evening out on the beautiful front porch enjoying the friendly cats and watching the chickens around the chicken coop. We also saw a few deer enjoying the property as well. What a perfect place to come back to each evening after hiking for the day. Thank you so much!

Superb Stay!

We enjoyed this stay so much, we hated to leave. It was truly a perfect hideaway from the Nashville scene we typically experience. Both the home and area were so beautiful. We were instantly greeted by the cutest fur baby, Maddie, the cat who I called Patches. We were able to walk down in the morning and greet the neighboring horse and donkeys as we enjoyed a cup of coffee. I am so excited to go back and stay here again. The host was very friendly and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you for sharing your space with us Andrew! See you again soon!

Beautiful area in Franklin Tennessee. Very nice VRBO! Close enough for excursions to Nashville while getting to enjoy the the stunning beauty of the countryside of middle Tennessee. We absolutely loved all that Franklin had to offer!

Nature is my medicine

Upon my arrival I met the owner, only because I approached him. He was very pleasant and helpful. The living area is beautiful and clean. The whole place appears to be new with nice features. The selling point for me was the surrounding area and the privacy. Sitting on the deck every morning enjoying a beverage, nature, and neighbors on the farm next door was the best part (Fyi, there is no smell from the small farm). We greeted the neighbors every day, who were a horse and 2 donkeys. If you’re lucky you will see deer roaming the property. We observed five on two different days. Also, we walked the property along the stream to the river which was serene. There is fire pit available to use but we didn't have time. We enjoyed Franklin, the local restaurants and Bars in the surrounding areas. This place is near everything we needed. In my opinion Franklin has more to offer than Nashville. I would stay here again.
