I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and while the hotel’s design is modern and appealing, my overall experience was quite disappointing due to several issues.
Check-in Process:
The hotel uses an online check-in system where the check-in information is directly sent to your phone. After filling out the check-in form, including uploading your driver’s license, a photo, and other card information, you receive a code to access your room, hallways, and other facilities. This concept is excellent in theory. However, the system failed, as I never received any information on my phone when I arrived at the hotel.
I booked through an agency, and the confirmation email and booking details did not provide any instructions for this process. I assumed it was a traditional hotel. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk, the coffee shop, or the bar to assist me. After waiting for five minutes, I asked a security guard who suggested it was an online check-in but couldn’t provide any details.
I spent 15 minutes asking three different staff members, none of whom knew how to check-in. Finally, a bar employee assisted me, but the process took over ten minutes due to server issues. After a frustrating half-hour, I finally checked in.
Room Issues:
