This cabin is a beautiful home nestled in the woods just 5 miles from the Brown County State Park entrance and 10 minutes from Nashville.

There are many features to this cabin that will make your stay enjoyable. From the chinked log walls, wood floors and beamed ceilings; to the big stone gas fireplace and pretty light fixtures, this home is the place you want to be. The master bedroom and private bath are tastefully decorated, and located just off the great room/kitchen/dining area. The master bedroom will treat you to a flat screen 55" high definition satellite tv for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, toaster, blender, pots and pans for cooking. It is designed with French doors that open to a very nice screened in porch with patio set leading to an adjoining deck. The deck is furnished with a grill and there is a firepit.

A cozy living area is just off the dining room and has a beautiful stone gas fireplace for your relaxing moments and a flat screen high definition satellite 42" TV. There is an additional half bath adjoining the living area for your convenience. There is Satellite TV/DVD in the living room and the lower level.

On the lower level of the cabin, a second bedroom with flat screen high definition satellite 27" TV and bath assures a quiet rest as you are tucked away in the Brown County woods. There is a sofa with pull out bed for extra guests. The family room area is set up for a grand time with a billiards battle, 27" high definition satellite TV, a Wii gaming system for family fun, and a selection of movies for your enjoyment. Another set of French doors leads to the patio where you will find a bubbling hot tub awaiting you...and, if you are lucky... a deer surprise.

This cabin is exactly like it is listed , one of the nicest places I’ve been very clean and decorated perfectly. If you want to go somewhere and relax this is the place . I would definitely rent this one again !!

Log cabin was just as described! Beautiful serene and cozy plus dog friendly! We loved the sectional in upstairs living room with gas fireplace. The lower level was cozy as well but with just the two of us we didn’t ended up using it much. We will return with a couple and earlier in the fall or even summer to enjoy the whole property.

Weekend stay

Had a wonderful weekend at this property. It was just as pictured and as described. Stayed with 3 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room for everyone! Loved the layout of the home and the outdoor space was very nice. There was hand soap and dish soap, no body wash or shampoo- that’s the only thing I would advise for guests to bring! The kitchen had all amenities we needed. Looking forward to our next stay!

Great retreat!

The cabin was perfect for my husband, in-laws, and infant son. We were looking for a relaxing getaway which was what we got. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed playing pool and hanging out in the hot tub.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I had a great stay at Hickory Ridge for a two-night getaway. The rental was very clean and well maintained. The view was fantastic and we loved the hot tub. The only negative I can think of were the sleeping pillows (very thin). We would definitely recommend to family and will stay again.

Beautiful

Very relaxing amounts the sounds of the breeze in the trees and the birds chirping while enjoying the 3 season room. The great room and bedrooms where clean and decorated beautifully with art from local artists.

Nice spot to get away safely

Overall, we had a nice time. Enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated that firewood was provided, and really loved the screened in porch to sit outside without need for masks. Plenty of seating and plenty of space to spread out throughout. However, it wasn’t overall as clean as one would expect. There was no wifi (which I understand, just would have appreciated that noted somewhere) and the DVD player was ancient, so we had to go 40 minutes to Walmart to buy a Blu-ray player to play the movies we bought (after realizing there was no wifi and our Apple TV plan wouldn’t work). The upstairs bed was extremely noisy and uncomfortable and the pillows were so so thin. These are things you can easily replace for cheaply and make guests comfortable. I received what felt like 10 emails from the company in the 2 weeks prior to check in which was really annoying to keep track of, and they all seemed to include duplicate info. Every time I called the office (during open hours) during our stay, no one ever picked up the phone. Eventually I used google voice, which allowed me to call from a “local” number, and they picked up immediately. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and loved the closeness to town. But for the price, some of the amenities are worn out or outdated, and there was much left uncleaned for what seemed like a long time. Surface things are clean, but just don’t peek too closely elsewhere.

Lovely cabin. Looks small from the front but lots of space inside on both levels. Cozy and fun. Loved the screened porch, peace and quiet, beautiful woods, and the pool table. Looking forward to returning to this cabin in future.

Secluded, private retreat convenient to Little Nashville

Hickory Ridge Cabin offered total privacy and seclusion, while still being convenient to the dining, shopping and attractions in Nashville. A couple of minor issues - the satellite TVs in the lower level didn't work and neither did the upstairs recliners (unless we just couldn't figure out how to work then) but the hot tub and screened in porch were very relaxing, with a nice view of the woods.
