カヤックツアー参加に便利

カヤックツアーの発着点のため滞在。朝ツアーには大変便利。 部屋はお値段にしては、もう少し綺麗だといいなーという感じ。 おそらくユニットのいくつかはコンドミニアム、つまり買い上げができる施設のようで、別荘としてお住まいの方が大半のようで、そのためかサービススタッフは少なめ。夜にシャワーが出ないなど故障しましたが、駆けつけまで1時間半かかると言われました。結局、部屋ごと交換対応いただけたので良かったです。 プールはガラガラで良し。レストランは閉鎖してるので自分でドライブして食べに行くか、近所のスーパー(大型のものがあります)に買い出しに行くといいです。

Everything worked as intended. Place is a small paradise in the middle of no where. I stayed just one evening in one of the cottages and I immediately booked another cottage to stay again. The pool is massive. Could use a little cleanings. But all in all it's a wonderful pool. Close to naples,close to Everglades city, goodland. Perfect location. I feel safe there. Very safe.

When we first arrived, mid afternoon on a Tuesday,there was no one there at all. There was just a paper on the empty front desk with a phone number to text upon arrival. I texted and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually my husband and I started checking doors to what appeared to be some sort of amenities. Everything was locked. The building had the musty smell of something long abandoned. We were concerned. Eventually a man wandered into the lobby area, no uniform, looking surprised to see us. I told him we had texted the number to check in to which he replied by checking his phone then going to the desk. He checked us in and sent us to our room. We had booked a “ superior cottage with garden view”. There were no cottages, no garden and no view in what looked like a run down apartment building. We entered our room with the code we were given and were immediately hit with the smell of moisture damage. The room was barely what could be considered clean and the couch was so stained I refused to sit on it. We laughed it off and decided we were definitely roughing it but it was just 2 nights so we could tolerate it. The bed was uncomfortable and there were a total of 2 pillows for our king size bed. We tried watching tv but the screen was frozen and the remote wouldn’t pair. After an awful night with little sleep, we woke to the horror of giant cockroaches, two of which ran across the bed. There was roach excrement on the end table in the morning. We left. Horrified.

All in all it was a very nice experience. The pool area could use some cleaning up and the property is not very well maintained. A bit rough. The room was perfect though and nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was also very good.

This place has always been “mysterious” to me as I have crossed tamiami trail many many times. So finally when I needed a place to stay that was near to Rookery Bay, and this one’s rates were the most economic, I jumped at the opportunity to check it out! The first thing I will note is that their “strict check in window” seems legit. The front desk was never manned; staff showed up at or near the check In window. He was very pleasant. Parking was first come first serve; the property is not too large so even if you don’t get a spot near your room, you won’t have very far to walk. I got a king room which was a nice big king bed and kitchenette. The kitchen consisted of a mini fridge/freezer, sink, basic pots/pans/glassware/stemware, a microwave, and a couple stove top burners. There was no table or chairs inside the room but I suppose they intend for you to eat on the patios (which was lovely! The A/C worked amazingly well. The hot water was delightful and the towels were big clean and fluffy. Overall a wonderful place!

I liked the property, kinda weird mixed use with full time and nightly rentals. Also the pool was not very clean. I loved the proximity to marina, and trails.. the cleanliness was fine. Weird no contact with stuff all digital check in. Overall not bad for price and I would stay again but not fantastic.

The guy at the front desk was great. He called and offered us an upgraded unit with a water view, since we were staying 5 days. While the unit was nice, it was pretty much the same and we had unpacked everything, so we stayed in our original unit. He even offered to help move our things. They do the best they can with what they have to work with. There is not much staff and feels like you have the hotel to yourself. The gym is nice and has a view of the water. The continental breakfast is an unexpected but nice touch. The lobby is really beautiful. They have a restaurant that seems to be open Wednesday-Saturday nights. We brought steaks and cooked on the grill near the pool. We will definitely be back! For those people who left negative reviews, they obviously did not do their research. It’s 10 miles to Publix and 10 miles to Everglades City. Have realistic expectations and you will enjoy it.

Clean room, gym nice, pool wonderful. Things have changed since I visited 6 years ago. More desolate, resterant and bar with no people. Marina now with very little in it compared with 2020.

When we tried to check in, there was no staff Member to greet or take care of us. 6 couples were waiting at the desk for 10 minutes before anyone showed up. The inside of the main building is very pretty, but the rooms on the outside buildings were Not clean, locks broken, outdated, television didn’t work, and generally disappointing.

After entering room, we then went to get a bite to eat. Upon returning to the room, the door code would not work and we could not get in. I called the emergency number 3 times and no one answered or called me back. I finally drove over to the lobby and, like earlier in the day, no one was there and every door in the lobby area was locked. I pounded on every door, and then called again. Finally a fellow came out of a locked door and was very upset with me, In fact, he was terribly rude and accusatory. I guess I interrupted his nap! He finally came to the room and after some fiddling around he got the door open. The resort is not nearly as nice as is pictured online. There is no place to park near our room. Every day the few spots there were there were filled. Finally parked on the street and put our handicap placard on the window, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. Grounds were not well kept. Beds were terrible - lumpy and crooked!! The one bed was so close to the air conditioner (about 3 inches away) that one could not sleep in that bed. And a big bug of some kind in the room which I was finally able to kill. One morning, before 8am, there was a fellow outside our room running the loud lawn mower on an area that had only dried grass - nothing to mow.
