We stayed at this condo for two weeks with our 5 young children. I had seen all the photos in advance and read prior reviews. Here were our impressions:
1) The condo is VERY spacious. We kind of got lost just trying to navigate the hallways to the bathrooms and rooms, but it was a good thing!
2) The view is absolutely stunning, even being on a lower floor. The floor to ceiling and wall to wall windows, plus roll-away bedroom wall made it even better. We were constantly in awe at the views of the ocean, beach, palm trees and nearby islands of Lanai and Molokai.
3) The kitchen appliances are new and upgraded. We had plenty of room for all our food for two weeks in the fridge. The convection oven was a plus, and the dishwasher fit all the dishes. The washer/dryer also worked well.
4) The property was really good and maintained, with easy access to the beach and pools by just walking down a flight of stairs. There were lots of beach chairs owned by the resort, but we usually just used the beach chairs provided by the condo and were able to sit closer to the water.
5) Bathrooms were in good shape and the double sinks were a great feature. The multiple showerheads in the bathroom by the master was very nice.
6) The couch as SO big, and comfortable. My daughter slept there when she wanted extra space (since most slept in one bedroom).
7) The Lanai was large and very relaxing to be on.
8) Snorkeling was actually really good at the beach in front of the condo. We snorkeled with sea turtles, just ~30 feet out. Lots of cool-looking fish too. Visibility is best in the early morning.
9) There are 12 grills all around the resort. I used them almost every night and never had to wait for one.
As far as downsides, there weren’t many. We had an issue with the kitchen sink drain, but that was the resort’s issue to resolve, and they handled it as soon as they were made aware. The filtered water ran a bit slow and the lanai sliding door could slide more smoothly. I know sometimes there are issues with bugs at Hawaii condos/homes, but we had zero issues with bugs. We swept and took out the trash every day so we weren’t inviting them in.
Overall, we were very pleased with this property and would stay again in a heartbeat!
