The Neighborhood:

In the heart of the Napa Valley, plenty of open vineyard landscaping surrounds the Silverado Resort. Minutes away are the surrounding towns of Yountville, St. Helena, Sonoma, Calistoga. Wineries dot the area by the 100s, and top notch culinary options are vast. I include a restaurant list in my welcome binder. Outdoor activities include cycling, hiking, nearby lakes, swimming, hot air balloon rides, etc.



Getting Around:

Napa Valley is best explored in a car as the area is expansive.

Wine tours are popular and many different organized ones are available, or explore on your own. Cycling is a popular sport enjoyed by many.

Public transportation is not near our apartment.

Relaxing Getaway with a View

This condo was a perfect getaway for us. We had a spectacular view of the golf course, a nice patio with lounge chairs to stretch out and relax, and a swimming pool that was right across the street. There's a nice walking path all around the property and some terrific restaurants nearby. The condo had everything we needed.

The condo was nice, spacious & just what I needed. A good, safe, quiet area. I needed to work remotely & the desk & internet were a huge plus. Check in information could have been better. Info about how to check in should be sent immediately even if the code is not sent until check in time. A few more basic amenities would have been good - kitchen sponge & towels, more than 11/2 roll of TP etc.but o over all a good stay

The location is as advertised. The bed is LUX. The linens are wonderful.

The host was very helpful. Always responded immediately even at 4 am when I was trying to check in. The location is clean and comfortable. The stay was marred by the inconsiderate people with the barking, yipping, crying dogs that will not allow you to sleep and enjoy the pleasant surroundings. The unit is non smoking; again inconsiderate visitors feel the need to stand in the community walkway and share their second hand smoke when you open your door or walk by.

Napa Getaway

I will do my best to be fair with the review. Price was in line and communication was excellent. The neighborhood is very nice and having a golf course view while not necessary, was better than looking at a neighbors fence. Ground floor location was great as was the covered parking spot. Pretty convenient to downtown Napa - maybe 10 minutes and very convenient to the golf course. Listing states one and a half baths - but there was just one. To be honest the unit is a bit dated - comfortable, but dated. Tile in bathroom is pretty dirty and the air filter left of the bathroom sink hasn't been changed in a very long time. We would stay here again but would hope the unit gets a little TLC.

Great Silverado Condo

Our family visits Napa often to see family, and we usually stay in the Silverado condos. This was our first time in this particular unit. The check-in process was a bit much - forms, questionnaires and add-on options for a price. A LOT of information was sent, but most of it didn't pertain to our stay (pet fees, early check-in/ late check-out, options for things to do in Napa, etc.). I received a message about our deposit after I had already paid it. I had to send my confirmation #, and it was cleared up. But, just another thing that made the check-in process bulky. The unit is in a great location and the keyless entry is very easy and efficient. My only recommendation would be that this unit gets a good deep cleaning. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would definitely stay in this unit again next time we're in Napa.

Great location on the Silverado golf course, close to downtown Napa and the rest of the valley. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, covered parking. The host was quite communicative and helpful as well. If the fireplace worked (even just a closed unit that wouldn't create a fire hazard), the condo would be perfect. We look forward to staying there again.

Relax in gorgeous Silverado Spa & Resort

This property is located at the Silverado Resort and Spa and it is fabulous! Loved the location also for this unit near the greens. We had a wonderful time exploring nearby wineries and restaurants. The unit is well equipped and was very easy to check into. Looking forward to coming back!

Traveled with the wife for a little 4 day getaway for some golf and exploring the wine County. The property fit our stay perfectly, from having the kitchen to prepare a few meals to being close to the HOA pool and to top of the evenings releaxing on the back patio watching the sun set over the 2nd hole green. Lovely little condo that was perfect for our trip to visit family in Napa. The large bedroom had a very comfortable bed and plenty of closet space. The view of the Napa hills from the back patio was relaxing. Our host David was attentive without being intrusive, a perfect combination.

Had a short weekend getaway. Didn't see too much of the property but looked like a fantastic golf course, lots of pools and nice grounds to walk around. Great having a Starbucks on site with the breakfast sandwiches / options to start the day. The condo was as expected/advertised.

Not up to expectations

The location of the property is excellent. But the good stops there. The unit has not been updated in something like 50 years. There was a leak in the bathtub when we arrived and the unit was extremely humid and smelled of mildew. Communication with the host was difficult and they asked for a large number of hidden fees and deposits out of band. The price is similar to the resort pricing, but the unit is nowhere near the condition of the resort managed units. I would highly recommend folks just stay through the resort for a guarantee of quality and access to the amenities.
