A simple small A-frame log cabin overlooking the majestic peaks of Mt Kenya tucked in a small pristine forest next to the Highway with a cantilever deck,set within a beautiful forest Garden,an outdoor kitchenette and a nature themed outdoor shower. A true getaway by the highway.

In a pride of lions, the lioness is typically responsible for the hunting. Hunts are most often conducted in the evening, but hunger trumps any rules of the jungle. Early this morning, we spotted this female sauntering with purpose. A lone waterbuck was grazing at a nearby watering hole.
