Great boutique hotel, perfect location
Second time staying here and will be back! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Love the courtyard for cocktails and the added bonus of a fantastic restaurant, Sister Ship, on property.

The rooms were not completely clean when we arriived. There was black soot on top of the duvet cover of the bed, dirty latex gloves in the bathroom. There was no water and there were no glasses for drinking. I texted them (according to the best way to get them to respond) to bring them up glasses and they never responded. The room was very warm and never cooled down even when we opened the windows. The window sills were filthy. I realize the hotel was overwhelemed with guests for stroll but they did not seem prepared.

Check in was fast and easy. Desk clerk walked me to my room and unlocked the door for me and made sure I was pleased with the room. Lights were on when we arrived at the room and room temp was perfect on a chilly night. Bathroom adequately stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand lotion. Bed was comfortable and building was quiet. I'd definitely stay again.

Lovely small hotel
A lovely hotel with gorgeous decor in a great location. My only complaint would be the lack of sufficient lighting in the room as well as a working television. The TV cable wasnt connected so impossible to watch. We also availed of the free bicycles on offer however the chain kept falling off one and the tyres were not sufficiently inflated with non functioning gears on another which made it very difficult to cycle.

This property is very poorly maintained. The bedroom door to our two bedroom suite was so warped it barely closed. The toilet got stuck every time you flushed it and you had to open the tank to unstick it. Bathroom sink would not drain. Very limited storage. Housekeeping only available upon request.

This property was perfect! It’s close to everything in Downtown Nantucket and the Boat Basin. The rooms were so cute, quaint and clean. We will recommend Faraway to anyone traveling to Nantucket and we will most definitely stay again!

Good location, tiny rooms
Fantastic location, very comfortable bed. Rooms are tiny, if we were staying longer than 48 hours it would be pretty hard to unpack suitcases at all. Bathrooms and showers not located in room which would have been ok, but all the doors on our floor creaked, not something I would normally mention but the sound was so loud it was comical. Staff was asked to wd40 the hinges to no avail. Others on our floor complained as well. When folks have to use the WC in the middle of the night everyone was woken up. At least it provided plenty of laughter.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Property and staff were excellent. If I had anything that the property could improve on, it'd be the room air conditioning units. Given that the rooms are on the smaller side, a quieter, more modern AC unit would be nice. The one in my room was quite loud and kicked on frequently throughout the night which caused some pretty poor sleep. Other than that the property was excellent and I'd stay again.

The room was incredibly small for the price and what was represented on the website. No chair for the table, only 2 hangars and almost nonexistent space to hang clothes. I had to store my suitcase on the floor in front of the door at night and on the bed during the day. The bathroom was fine.
