Great Place to Stay
Easy to find and great location. The view from the main bedroom is amazing of the bay and sunsets. Kids loved having a separate bedroom with their own tv and netlix. Does not have a full size kitchen but was well appointed for our 2 night stay. The pool and hot tubs were great to use as well on the property. We would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant stay
Good location near Rathtreavor Beach. Many pleasant forest and beach walking trails nearby and on the resorts property. Accommodation was spotless, beds firm and bedding comfy. Just a heads up-the suite has in-floor heat so it takes awhile to warm up and it only has a partial kitchen.

Everthing was fine. Just a few minor pointers: the salt was empty, the access card to the pool didn t work at first (clerk at reception helped), the light switch to the bathroom didnt work from the right entrance.

Hi Mona, Thanks for your review. Just to let you know, there was a full salt shaker in the cupboard, not sure why you didn't see it. Sorry about the access card. Those are controlled by the resort and they seem to get demagnetized from time to time. That is the first we have heard about the light switch, we have called the electrician and they are coming next week to investigate/fix the issue. Thanks Again, Glenda and Roy

The space was perfect for the family. It was clean and spacious. The Rising Moon restaurant was great food. Overall I would definitely recommend this to friends. Very pleased.

Hi Danielle, Just noticed your review. I just wanted to point out that our unit is advertised clearly as a kitchenette which is for light cooking only. We may at sometime upgrade to a more substantial kitchen but for now the listing and the price reflect the amenities offered. Sorry that you misunderstood what was being offered. Glenda and Roy

Aloha! A touch of Hawaii without the flight
We stayed at the Aloha Cottage for a week in June 2023 and enjoyed all aspects of it. We hadn't done any real shopping when we arrived so we were happy to see a snack and water basket to enjoy, always a nice bonus wherever you stay. The suite had all the comforts of home for us with an added bonus of watching the sunset from the deck every evening. The resort is centrally located and was close for us to visit Nanaimo, Coombs, Courtenay and Campbell River. We enjoyed all the on-site amenities, especially the outdoor hot tub but also the restaurant and indoor pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Nanoose Bay. On a side note, we didn't have any issues during our stay but when I did send messages to the owner giving information, they were very prompt at responding to me :)

We enjoyed our stay! Our wholesale business supplier was also staying at the same complex, so it was easy for us to meet and not have to drive too much. We look forward to staying again hopefully for a longer visit.

The property was a lovely place to stay for a couple nights. The hosts had it well equipped with quality products and thoughtful touches. The one thing that we did miss was a sitting area to visit in or watch tv. There were beautiful big tvs in each bedroom, but not much of a living room type area (a smaller tv in the kichenette with a hideabed) One bedroom had a gorgeous water view with a deck. A parking spot, the pool and exercise room were nice and close to the unit.

Nice balcony. 15 steps to suite could pose a problem for some; unit lacks a full length mirror; fridge is just too small; king size bed much appreciated; parking is convenient; tv in kitchen was a challenge; bathtub needs a non slip mat for showering as surface is dangerous for standing

Great oceanfront location
This was such an awesome stay! We had come to parksville for a vacation and this location was perfect to wake up to the ocean views! The master bedroom with balcony and fireplace was so pretty! Appreciated the jack and Jill bathroom to make it easy for all guests to access. The laundry in suite was helpful as well. There was a great little walking trail to the ocean and beach too! On site amenities were a nice addition for a pool and such, although we didn't get to use it as we didn't have the time haha! Would recommend, and would love to stay here again!

Perfect family getaway
Amazing place, had everything we needed. Beach, indoor pool for rainy day and outdoor hot tub. Playground less than 1 minute toddler run away (and visible from property too!). Big tv in master bedroom for family movie night, board games and puzzles, we rarely needed to take the 7 minute drive into Parksville. Some smaller and bigger inconveniences arose during our stay that was out of control of host, but they dealt with the issues very promptly and professionally. Would gladly come again if they will have me back!

Wonderful.
Setting in Craig Bay is gorgeous. We used this spot mainly as a base to explore Qualicum, Tofino, Ucluelet but also enjoyed the beach here. Took kayaks out for a paddle in the bay - staff were very helpful. Hosts were very attentive and the place was very clean and as described in the posting. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect place for me. The master bedroom is huge with a wonderful view of the bay and snow capped mountains in the distance. The kitchen is small but had everything I needed. It was stocked with essentials as well as coffee and tea. The location is very good and has lovely places to walk. The balcony is awesome. I would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent getaway
The place was quiet and relaxing. A short walk away from the beach and on the gloomy days a nice indoor pool for my child to still have a lot of fun. The place was clean and exactly what I expected from description and photos. The view from the master bedroom is nice. It can get warm in the unit in the evening but easily cured with leaving the sliding door ajar for some cool night fresh air.

Fabulous family stay
This property exceeded all expectations for our weekend family getaway. The location was beautiful, just steps from the beach. The kids loved the amenities of the pool, hot tub and fire pits. The house was very clean and comfortable. The “smart” accessories, high quality toiletries, comfortable linens, pool towels and kitchen care package of treats were much appreciated. The hosts have tastefully decorated and maintained a beautiful home. We will definitely be back

Fantastic Stay in Nanoose Bay!
Work trip turned into mini vacation for my husband, myself, and our two daughters aged 9 and 5. From the moment we walked in we were impressed with how organized and stocked the place was. I don't know if they mention it in the description but there is a hot plate, toaster oven, and a coffee maker in the unit, which made small meals easy to prep in the kitchenette. The complex is very well maintained and my daughter had a blast every single day in the pool and at the playground. The outdoor hot tub was also a great way to relax as a family. Great walking trails and absolutely stunning views kept us busy even in the off season. Highly recommend!

Great stay in a great location
The unit is a small, but well-appointed unit in a great location. The master bedroom is palatial with a great view of the bay. As a part of the Pacific Shores Resort, you have access to the resort amenities including the hot-tub which is a welcome bonus when you need to warm up after a chilly dive in the Salish Sea.

Right on the shore of Nanoose Bay. Resort restaurant (not open during our stay) and indoor pool on site. Kitchen not suitable for cooking main meals. Indoor stair access. Clean linens albeit not fragrance free. Comfy bed.
