"Not the cleanest place we've stayed in. On arrival cigarette butt in shower recess, bath mat was dirty, balcony if you could call it that looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. Bed was comfy, linens nice. Staff on arrival had very limited English & couldn't convey what they wanted. In the end we think she was asking our permission to photocopy our booking papers from Hotels.com. but we'll never really know."

"So the hostel is doing lots of renovations! So the property looks dirtier than the pictures show. There were no towels given but we brought our own. Staff were friendly but the language barrier was a problem. I think once they are done renovating and clean up the property will be beautiful!"

No towel rack. Sink loose on wall. Mildew on wall fan. Two small bottles of water for two days. No room service. No kettle. no tea or coffee in the room. Breakfast was only egg and bread roll. No tea or coffee at breakfast. Good internet. Old style hotel that needs a lot of work. Again. I paid for what...

"Beware! £500 of our stuff went ‘missing’ while we were staying there. The staff were rude and unhelpful and admitted to going through our belongings when we weren’t there. We did not feel safe. Not to mention both toilet and shower were broken for the first few days. In hindsight when we realised how much worse the place was than in the photos we should have immediately gone elsewhere. Truly subpar. This has been my worst and most disappointing stay ever. Do not stay here"

"Got to the hostel and it was total chaos. They showed us 5 rooms before actually finding the one we had booked. Some of the rooms was already ocupied by others, so that made us feel our stuff was unsafem when we got our room, the toilet did not work and there were ants in the bed. We got upgraded after a bit of arguing and the new room was Ok, at best. Stains on the sheets etc. Makes for a not to cosy stay... the shower is completly usless. If your only aim is a bed to sleep in and you do not...
