Nakamaki Shrine

Location details were not accurate. It was so far from train stations. No place to eat. No grocery stores around. The room is spacious and the staff are all friendly.

4 of us stayed in the family Japanese room and it was EXCELLENT. Spacious; clean; separate shower, toilet and sink which really helps when 4 people are sharing. I was pleasantly surprised that the Japanese futons on the floor were so comfortable. We stayed 5 nights first then while there booked another 7 nights for when we returned to Tokyo on the second leg of our trip. Having a washer and dryer (in one) in the room is the most convenient thing and they provide detergent...in the night put your clothes in and wake up to them clean and dry... don't pack a lot of clothes to carry on your trip. Location could not be more convenient to EVERYTHING - restaurants, stores Uniqlo, Don Quijote, Daiso, Ameyoko district. Area does not feel touristy at all but has everything and is super close to the train station. The ONLY downside to the hotel is that it doesn't have a lounge-type sitting area in the lobby for when you just want to have somewhere to sit and relax other than the room. That was not a deterrent for us to rebook and we would definitely stay there again if we return to Tokyo.

I loved this place. We have a room with two beds and a bunk bed. The room is a very good size for Japan standards. Very clean. And it’s very quiet. There’s a supermarket right in front of it. And it made bringing snacks, food, ramen, drinks, ice cream to the room so convenient. You have a full size fridge and a kettle and all cooking equipment in the room provided. I’d def stay there again!
