1. The room didn’t have enough charging sockets but just one at the TV stand. Even in the bathroom three was none at the dressing mirror. 2. The waiters were so slow and I was made to wait for my meals for more than an hour even after telling me the food is ready. 3. After clearing with the hotel and checking out, I received another invoice asking to pay an extra 47 usd. I don’t know what is it for and I paid the whole amount due on this platform before even checking in.

No hot water applied the spoiled the stay

Practical room with chairs and table. Wet room en-suite but no hot water unfortunately. Balcony was nice but “garden views” were actually a dusty field behind some trees over a road. Nice pool area and bar though dining experience was not overly comfortable.

Park Place Hotel - OK men kan forbedres

Det var få gjester på hotellet; stort sett var vi alene til frokost eller det var 2 andre i frokostsalen. Frokosten er bra. Rommet er ok, men i dusjen renner vannet utover hele gulvet da det sluken er plassert midt på gulvet. Det er heller ikke dusjkabinett eller skjerming rundt dusjen. Baderommet bar også preg av slitasje, men det var til å leve med. Kanskje er jeg for kravstor også. I Afrika ser de litt annerledes på en del saker enn det vi gjør. Det som jeg likte minst med hotellet, var spilling av høy musikk på ettermiddag og kveld. Høy musikk ødela litt av stemningen for min del. Hotellet ble også brukt til en del konferanser og samlinger/forretningsfolk. Men det var hyggelig betjening og et brukbart hotell til en overkommelig pris. Oppsummert: 3 av 5 poeng.

Economy hotel

Safe hotel. The shows spigot sprays onto the bathroom floor getting the sink and toilet wet. Bad electrical lines as many outlets don't work.

Great location for our needs

The hotel is a shell of what it should be. We carried our own bags to the second floor room. Pretty cramped with only two power outlets both dedicated to the useless TV and satellite box that had no card. We used outlets to charge phones and tablet. Always good to have bed netting in East Africa but The set up around our bed did little to slow the bloodthirsty mosquitoes. In adequate. The bathroom had sink, toilet and shower. It also had smooth tile floors which are slippery, if not dangerous when wet. After two substandard breakfasts with cold toast we ate out the rest of our stay. Hard to miss the foul smell when walking past the garden to the hotel reception. What was that all about??

Excellent Location

The hotel was located within 2 miles from the Galleria Mall, an excellent eating, shopping and Masai Market Facility. You can walk back and forth from the Hotel with no fear. The location was very safe and sound. Hotel Troy near by, with great accommodations and dining facility to visit. Within few miles from the National Park of Nairobi. The Hotel was under renovation, which interfered a little with the TV reception in the rooms and sometimes the Wi Fi, but the lobby had numerous areas to watch tv and have perfect internet reception. I was so glad that I selected this hotel, with the best food in town and staff. The food was prepared on the spot, fresh every time per your request. Very clean and excellent service. A lot of people visited the hotel for drinks in the bar and enjoying the excellent food and service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very satisfied overall.
