The shops were nearby. The most of the staffs were helpful. I did not like the sink, because it was hard to control the flow of the water, and as well as the temperature. I also found the flow of the water for the bathtub wasn’t very good.
The building is so close to Nagoya station. There are lots of restaurants, shopping centres, and convenience stores close by. Very convenient! Lots of restaurants provide quality food. Some of those are just facing the hotel.
The room is spacious, comfortable, and quiet.
My room was in a poor sharp. The only window has failed seal and leaking cold air.
The window is beside the bed so you get a mix of cold air and warm air from the ac unit on the other side making a terrible condition for sleeping.
There is a notice of possible sewage backup in the bathroom, an noticible odor when first open the bathroom door.
Bath curtain also has an odor
My tea froze overnight in the fridge. Someone cranked it all the way to full.

Everything just seems broken/old. WiFi barely worked.
I stayed here due to the fact that the bullet train had an issue and instead of it continuing to Kyoto I was stuck in Nagoya. It was 11pm. I had to find a hotel very close and fast due to the fact I had just flown 13 hours and was 2 hours in the bullet train. It was cold out and I was tired.
When I checked Expedia it said available, but when I went in the guy said it was full. I admit Japanese people sometimes just don’t want to be bothered if they don’t speak English so they will simply say full. It’s not really about being mean it’s more about inconveniencing you with having struggling with their English and inconveniencing them with trying to help you with your non Japanese language skills.
So instead I booked it on Expedia and voila! I stayed there. I wasn’t going to walk around to get the same answers everywhere. I stayed friendly with the front desk guy and we basically pretended the first interaction never happened haha
It’s a 3 min walk from the train, and there was also a late night restaurant open across the street. In addition they have free coffee hot chocolate, soda, soup, and a water dispenser on the main floor for guests to take as they like. The room is standard Japanese size and clean.
The bed and pillows were hard in terms of American standards. Overall if you need a quick place to crash for a day or two trip it’s super close to the train!
