「Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir das Haus zu erst ein wenig für uns erkunden, da Check In über die Schlüsselbox erfolgte. Was für uns unglaublich angenehm war. Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Das Haus begrüßte uns bereits wohlig warm vorgeheizt mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Vielen Dank hierfür :) Da wir über Weihnachten blieben, wurde sogar der Wohnbereich geschmückt. 「This peaceful cottage is in a great location if you want to get away from it all. Finding it may have been easier if the instructions were in English rather than German. Easy access to Westport and Newport if you need to shop. The cottage itself was not the warmest place we have ever stayed and could do with a little tlc but generally comfortable . The inspiring views of Croagh Patrick were largely blocked by an overgrown hedge. However we enjoyed our stay very much.」

「This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center. 「It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again.」

「The property manager was so welcoming! Fresh flowers, local bread and a sweet treat awaited us. Even though we were delayed arriving at the appointed time, our hostess made sure the “hand over” was seemless and she answered all of our questions. She was accessible for questions during our stay and made several great suggestions of destinations in the area. I highly recommend the property. A+」

「Ireland itself and especially this residence gave us way more than we expected. we rent this house for 7 persons and stayed 10 days. In fact it felt more like 3 weeks. You instantly feel home - there is a big difference if the residence is owner used or just commercially used for tourists.」
