"The staff was the redemption on this trip. We booked this as a quiet getaway several hours from home before life started getting crazy again. Unbeknownst to us, this hotel gets slammed most weekends during youth hockey season, so a day and a half was truly awful with screaming and running. George (the manager) and Corey were the best. They were so kind and tried their best to address the noise concerns. Because of them, we will absolutely be returning "

"Loved our short stay here. The cabin is newly built and in beautiful condition, with all the amenities we could want for such an efficiently small space. Sleeping in the lofted space was SO fun and cozy, and the beds on the main level were convenient for guests who wanted to avoid the ladder. Power outlets were convenient, parking simple, tea and coffee easy to make, wifi plentiful, and the host was sweet and gracious. Only warning I would give is there are quite a few steps to get up to the house from the street, which might be tricky to anyone mobility-challenged, but the staircase felt very solid. Well worth the climb! "
