"Had a lovely stay. Only mishap was not the fault of the hotel. A car ran into the power pole in front of the building and there was no electricity for a few hours."

"Rooms were great - nice size. Some were recently repainted it seemed. Hotel was spacious with a good indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast staff was friendly but the breakfast could have had a little more variety. All in all a great stay. "

"This Hotel was extremely clean and the staff very friendly and courteous. They even had breakfast with our stay including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, pancakes and waffle maker, plus more. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was, when we arrived I was told the king room with a couch and bay view that we'd reserved and paid for, wasn’t available because the previous person extended their stay. So they gave me a two queen room with a view instead. The room was nice, but not what I'd reserved and I was wondering why the other person's needs were more important than ours. The other thing that wasn’t great was the TV only had 16 channels. PBS, news, MeTV, a couple Spanish, and at least one religious station. Thankfully we had our tablets and were able to see something else but on a 7-inch screen. "

"Staff was friendly upon check in. They let me check in 20 minutes early, that was appreciated. It's pretty basic as hotels go, priced fairly. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. But my issue was the lack of hot water. Upon arrival I could only get lukewarm water out of the faucet; my shower this morning ran out of hot water about two minutes in. Not sure if it's a problem for the entire hotel or just the floor I was staying on, but I can't highly recommend a place if I can't have hot water. The location is fine, though. "

"The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa was amazing....massage was A-One, baby you better get you one, it's that Deal. Hospitality was great......Thank you staff, you guys did your thing. We were in the tower our room were nice, view was.amazing. we'll.be back. Only thing need more dinning selections and a better brew of coffee in rooms and resort. "

"It is pet friendly, although we don't have pets. There was a full kitchen that had everything needed to prepare food. Full size refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, a garage to park in. It was very clean and so beautiful. Very well maintained. Many extra pillows and blankets available around the house. Had a walkout patio and front porch that had cute outdoor furniture. The driveway was snow blowed every morning. I would recommend staying here over a hotel any day."
