"The word excellent is not enough to describe our hosts, the residence, the view and the amazing dinner and breakfast (provided at a nominal fee). We immediately felt like family rather than guests. We have been traveling Italy for over three weeks now, and have experienced a variety of accommodations, but our stay here could not have been better. As an added bonus, we were just minutes away from Castello Nipozzano Mille grazie Alessandra and Jacobo!! We look forward to visiting again"

Amazing countryside villa with private pool in Tuscany between Arezzo & Florence

10/10 Excellent

"Lucia is a very lovely and friendly host. Communication was prompt and smooth. Everything has been in clean and functional condition."

VILLA BENFENATI close Florence3/4/5/6/7 BR ensuites, amazing pool whole exclusive

8/10 Good

"We had a nice stay at this beautiful villa in Tuscany. The pool and grounds were fantastic for our group celebration, and the hosts did some nice things for us, including preparing a delicious meal and cake and providing table linens free of charge for our private chef. However, there were issues around pricing, communication and additional charges. The online price did not ultimately reflect what we paid, with nearly 50% extra charged for three additional guests. The pricing also didn’t seem to account for single guests requiring their own rooms. We were told that if we couldn’t afford the additional cost, we should book a UK youth hostel, which felt unnecessary. We were charged 250 for gas and electricity. the online description stated no additional/hidden costs, and the additional charges had to be paid in cash on arrival, which made us uncomfortable. Having checked Italian electricity costs afterwards, the rate appeared to be around twice the average. We were also billed for the Friday based on 11 guests, despite seven having already left and only four remaining. The hosts also charge for use of the coffee machine, we opted out of this.WhatsApp communication was frequent but sometimes felt like a bit much while we were trying to enjoy our holiday. On our final morning, the remaining four guests were due to leave at 6:30am. Despite asking the hosts to wait until then to clean, they began cleaning at 6:00am, which felt intrusive and added unnecessary pressure."

Poppiena Farmhouse "ABETE"

8/10 Good

Romantic detached cottage with pool, in a farm between Arezzo and Florence

8/10 Good
