Now Expedia wants me to leave a review! OK, what can I add to the superlatives for Casa De La Luz?
We have been Platinum VIP status at Expedia for several years. It's our modus operandi to seek out boutique hotel properties in city centers.
In the entire world, this is probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in this price range, and comes close to some very expensive places we stayed.
In the EEUU, we have used an expression "It punches above its weight," meaning CDLL is performing well and above expectations in every category.
This may sound trivial, but we use toilet paper as a metric for hotel ratings. This place uses Kleenex "Cottonelle Deluxe Ultra,"
a premium brand that is not found anywhere in most hotels (even expensive ones).
Every amenity provided: the Nespresso pods, the cooked breakfast, the hotel restaurant, the outstanding service, is among "best in class."
CDLL is a lovely restored historic building, a wonderful place to stay in Ciudad De Mexico.
