The property is well located and it is sort of an oasis in a very crowded area. It is definitely for convenient stays given its closeness to the central station. The lobby is beautiful; breakfast is great and with a reasonable price. The bar staff is super friendly and conversational.

Exceptionally, distinct furnishings on the main floor entrance and bar area. Unique decore done tastefully and memorable. The room was spacious and quiet. Evenings we had tea in the lounge with great service. Location is central with the main train station a block away and 5 minute walk to the city centre.

Never have AC. If you book on Expedia your room is smaller. No fridge. Comfortable beds. Staff being friendly is dependent on who you get. Lounge is awesome. Location is decent to get to marianplatz and great for the train station. No actual amenities for this hotel

The hotel is in a sketchy (dirty) area. Not a comfortable place to walk at night, but the hotel itself was very good. We are going to Cologne and booked our room there at the Motel One.

Stayed here for 2 nights in March, as I was coming back from Austria after completing my ski instructors qualification course. Room is a little on the small side, but it isn't any issue at all. Decent wifi. Located just across from the main train station, so super convenient for the U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains to anywhere you want to get to. And only a short 7-8 minute walk to Karlsplatz and the main shopping area of Munich.
