The hotel is perfectly charming (and spotless!) and in a quieter area just outside of the old town which is easily accessed by train. The staff are very welcoming and very helpful with information about getting around the city. Excellent breakfast with great options. The restaurant that is right beside has incredible authentic Bavarian food (in fact, better than in the old town) and you feel like you're in a local beer house (which you probably are). Loved our stay here!

The property was beautiful, quaint, and had such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, with transportation just steps away. The rooms were very clean and uncluttered, although a little more storage space for our belongings would have been nice. The staff was amazing, from the breakfast team to the front desk and bar staff. Everyone was so welcoming and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy, charming place to stay in a great location.

Third stay at this hotel, and once again couldn’t fault it. Staff were great and very helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast comes with a nice selection of cereals, yoghurts, breads, and cuts of meat and cheese, which is all very good. This hotel will always be my first choice when staying in Munich. Will hopefully be back soon.

The hotel was very old. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel if you’re going to stay there at summer time. No Air Conditioning and it gets very hot. No fridge or microwave or kettle in the room. It has a great breakfast and staff are very friendly. The location is also good. It is very close to bus stops.

Very clean, staff very helpful, kudos to Caroline. Breakfast excellent, large variety options to choose from. No refrigerator in the room, the AC was a little challenging likely due to high temperatures in Germany during that time 106•F. Otherwise, love this location and its proximity to the Munich centre.

We had a wonderful stay at Obermeier, and managed to use public transport into Munich effficiently. The breakfast was amazing, and we also made good use of the lovely reception and bar areas. Staff were incredible, and very understanding when I flew off with my room key! It would be very hard not to return if I ever came to Munich again.

The staff are wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful. But there is no AC so we couldn’t sleep. They brought us fans and even after we switched to the main building and paid more where they said there was AC there was not. It’s a temperature regulator - not AC. The fans helped but it was not cool for sleeping. Everything else about the hotel was nice.
