Incredible staff and customer service. Very conveniently located to restaurants and shops . The reception recommended an exquisite Mediterranean restaurant around the corner from the hotel that was superb! The hotel was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Definitely recommend.
It was great from the start! We were able to check in early with our little 1.5 year old boy after a long flight. They had really comfortable beds and we slept wonderfully both for our nap and at night! The location was perfect, right in the center of Freising. Only improvement would be to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was delicious and I wish we could have stayed there longer than just one night.
The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is in central location and sightseeing including the Domberg with its cathedral and stunning Diocesan museum is within short walking distance . The city is very beautiful. Dining in the hotel was very good. Parking is easy in a hotel parking garage. The hotel has a wonderful Bavarian character. It is a wonderful place to stay
Everything was great. Helpful staff for booking a taxi (we didn’t have to worry about parking, but noticed there was a car elevator in the back lot). Breakfast staff was nice and good options were good. Our room faced the busy street but it was quiet.
We stayed here for one night to be close to Munich Airport for the last night of our 2 week trip across Bavaria.
We stayed in room 208 overlooking the front of the hotel and pedestrian area.
We had booked a Business Class Double Room with a King bed and A/C, although the weather was perfect, especially at night, so we just opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh Bavarian air.
Bed was comfy and the room was quiet and quite large with a couch and sitting area.
No in room mini fridge but there is a self service "honesty bar" with very reasonable prices just past the lobby in the breakfast section.
Breakfast was very good and staff were all friendly.
Quaint little town and only 15 minutes drive from MUC.
Parking fee €10 per night.
Highly recommend as a starting or departure point when flying in or out of Munich.
I really liked staying here. It was quiet but with excellent connections into Munich, which meant that I was able to do a lot of sightseeing and still come back to a peaceful place to rest.
Only one thing they could improve, potentially: the bed itself. It had a strange design with a shelf of some sort near the head: useful for placing things like phones to charge, but it made the bed quite uncomfortable to do anything except lay down to sleep in. Keep the shelf feature, but maybe add some padding to the vertical part of the headboard.
Another area unfortunately can’t be improved: the hotel has a peculiar layout with the car park one level above the reception area, which is at street level. That’s due to the building’s architecture - but perhaps some communication to guests when bookings are made might help.
Finally, the use of the car park, or more specifically how to get out of it once one enters, could do with some clearer signposting.
Apart from those things, this was an excellent place to stay. Two of the nights I stayed, there was a market in the main street just outside, so there was plenty to enjoy even if one wasn’t travelling into Munich.
Also, most of the important parts of Munich that a tourist would want to get to can be reached using only one train, the S1, which makes this a handy place to stay. It’s also close to the airport.
Finally, the staff are friendly, helpful, efficient and good at what they do.
Super friendly staff and a really excellent breakfast. The newer rooms in the rear of the building are modern and much nicer than the older ones on the front side (I stayed in one of these earlier on my trip under a different reservation).
This hotel is very comfortable and clean. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. It is walkable to restaurants, train stations and bus stations. It is located in the middle of tourism places and is very convenient for tourists.
The hotel itself was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Navigating the garage and area around can be a bit difficult but the time we spent in the hotel and interacting with staff was great.
