Wonderful hôtel

Superb hotel with great Restaurant. 12mn on foot from the train Station and 20mn away from Marienplatz after that. Service was great was every staff very friendly and willing to help. Thank you!

Overall great experience. Walkable to train station. Short trip to downtown Munich. Great little biergarten in back with a nice menu. Breakfast is great. Service is kind and helpful.

We ended upbat the Alter Hof after a snow storm shut down the airport nd hotelrooms within 20 miles of the airport were rare. The staff held our reservation while we tackled the transportation challenges brought on by the storm. The restaurant staff was also friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

I came for Oktoberfest and wanted a nicer option than the downtown Munich hotels would offer. It was a nice suburb close to the train with dining options, recreation, and a very nice staff. I made poor attempts at speaking German during my stay but they were very patient and accommodating. I rented a car, which I easily parked in an adjacent lot. While it lacks a permanently staffed from desk, I didn’t mind as I arrived during normal business hours.

Wir waren im alten Hof um Bekannte in Vaterstetten zu besuchen. Sehr positiv ist das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft und die Freundlichekeit des Personals. Der Biergarten samt dem Schweinebraten sind ebenfalls hervorragend. Aufgrund des Frühstücks im Kellerraum haben gibt es einen kleineren Abzug. Vaterstetten an sich würden wir nicht unbedingt als Urlaubsort wählen, aber da unsere Freunde vor Ort wohnen kommen wir demnächst sehr gern wieder in den Alten Hof.
