Es gab kein Sangam Guest House,wurde geschlossen,ich warte immer noch auf die Erstattung meiner geleisteten Zahlung.Hatte bereits vor einer Woche um eine Rückbuchung gebeten.Ich würde mich freuen,wenn ich diese in den nächsten Tagen erhalten würde.

A positive surprise

I was lucky to get a top floor room. Nice atmosphere up there, where the ceiling is too low and after elevator you have to take first stairs to upper floor and then very narrow stairs to the top floor. Great location, simple room with nice view and powerful ac. To sum it up, I was positively surprised to get place like this on a budget.

It was not all that bad considering it was so cheap, but they ripped me off when offering to do my laundry. I was told it would be 25 rupees for a load of washing, this sounded cheap but plausible considering how cheap everything is in India, I then showed them my bag of washing and it was confirmed that it would be 25 rupees. When they brought it back they gave me a bill for 980 rupees, almost 40 times the price I was told. It was blammed on the person I spoke to not speaking English well, but I made sure I confirmed the price beforehand. It seems like this is a way of them to make extra income by scamming their customers and telling them they have to pay up. Not only did they charge me 40 times what the price was meant to be, but my hoodie came back with a jammed zip and missing pull tag. They ignored me for a few days and kept telling me I needed to speak to someone else pointing to an empty room. Eventually on the last day I demanded they do something about it. They unjammed it and put a ridiculous looking tag on to replace the missing pull tag. It jammed again and I ended up throwing it away.

Hotel is located in a congested area no flexibility in check out timing, not even provided water but placed flask and glasses,water heater not worked , floors are dirty, tariff is too much.

Room displayed in online booking is fake. Clarify the facilities you are providing while booking. After booking you have no option if you find anything wrong and you are at the position to check in the hotel. What ever is available you have to select at that time.
