The space:
The 'miner's cottage' is a charming and private small home in the village of Mulbring.
With distant views of the Watagan National Park mountains from the front yard, the cottage is set back on a half-acre of established gardens including fruit and veg. There's a residential satin bower-bird and many other native birds that visit and live in the gardens.
The cottage and pool is completely private and not shared, I don't live on the property.
The cottage has a salt water concrete pool as well as a small pond in the gardens. Because of the pond, this space is not suitable to accomodate small children.
The cottage has an updated kitchen with a gas oven and cook-top. There is unlimited wi-fi, TV, reverse cycle air conditioner and a large combustion fire place. The living room has a flat screen TV with chrome cast and a DVD player - no free-to-air TV.
The north facing bathroom has a claw foot iron tub to help soak away the winter chill. Towels are provided.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, with memory foam mattress topper, mosquito net, down dooner and extra blankets.
The second bedroom is cosy, freshly painted room with two single beds each with night table and lamps. Both single beds has a down dooner with extra blankets. There is a small portable electic heater that is suitable to heat this space if needed. Both bedrooms have mosquito nets.
