Our stay was amazing. Very off the grid which was perfect. Watched the deer in the morning and late afternoon. Enjoyed the creek & the wildlife. Very restful stay. Exactly what I needed. Blanchard springs cavern is nearby as well & was amazing. Will definitely be back!!
It rained during our stay and it was too cold for swimming. But This would be a great place to stay if you want to swim in the white river to cool off.
This place is 2 miles from the hwy, but worth the drive. Total privacy!
The area is secluded at the very end of the road so absolutely no traffic to contend with.it was so nice to be able to drink my coffee and watch as the deer crossed the field in total peace every morning. We never had any issues whatsoever. Its just a very quaint cabin.great for swimming in the crystal clear cold creek and warming by a fire and cooking hotdogs afterwards. Will definitely be a future go to spot to unwind.
Beautiful and quiet place to relax. We enjoyed every minute we were there. Take old shoes if walking to creek in morning. The grass seed in September and little bugs get on your feet and legs when the grass is wet and hasn't been mowed in awhile. But you if can wait until dew has dried, beautiful walk. Easy access to the creek.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Access to the creek to fish in made it even more enjoyable. Emily responded and helped with whatever we needed. We do plan on returning to this location.
My husband and I haven’t been alone in 15 years due to the responsibility of caring for others .. very secluded next to a relaxing creek.. very cozy .. will definitely be going.
Communication is awesome with Emily!
We loved this rental. Not far from “town” but feels like you’ve escaped to the middle of nowhere. Great access to the Sylamore. Every convenience you need inside, comfy bed….they’ve thought of everything !
If you're looking for a remote cabin, this is it. It's a good location, shared with two other cabins, but you'll need a high vehicle to get there. We drive an Infiniti Q50 and I'm glad we left it at home and brought the pickup.
The cabin was clean, with plenty of amenities.
Loved the property. It was clean except for the little red bugs that were everywhere. Not due to owner, just that time of year for those invasive bugs. Not harmful at all. The only thing that I think needs to be mentioned, and it might be and I missed it is the steep downhill gravel road to get to the cabin. My friend came in a cadillac car and we were a little concerned about that. If it had rained a lot or even snowed, not sure about the process of getting in and out with that hill. I had a HONDA CRV and I was concerned. Other than that place was wonderful. Went in the middle of the week and it was so tranquil . We only left to go to town just to have lunch. Saw much needed wildlife and would love to go back in the summer and put my feet in the Sylamore Creek. Hostess was prompt at answering a question I had and very pleasant. BTW those little red bugs were mainly outside, they looked like ladybugs but weren't. We get them at home this time of year also, so was use to them.
We had a great time! This place was remote and we enjoyed privacy and nature while only being about 10-15 minutes from the square! The cottage was super clean and well equipped with everything we needed! The decor and furniture was so sweet and well kept and super comfy that I wanted to take it all home with me! We did NOT want to leave! The creek was soooo fun! My two year old absolutely loved it! Right near the access was shallow enough for her to be able to play without having to worry about her getting in over her head but just a short distance to the right you could fish! We caught several! The drive to the cottages is steep but we had no problems and we drive an equinox. “Not 4-wheel drive”
Serenity at its finest! Absolutely gorgeous property with nothing missing. I was amazed at how peaceful it was. Instructions provided were very clear and simple. We will be coming back in the summer to enjoy the creek with the dogs!
We had a pleasant stay. The cabin and property was very clean when we got there. The creek is absolutely beautiful and a short walk away. We're glad we found somewhere we could take our dog too!
The cabin is just as the pictures show. Beautiful, emasculate, very clean, had all supplies needed. The property is stunning, with beautiful views, the meadow area is groomed to create walking paths to the creek. Already planning a return trip with my daughters.
