The only issue we had is they have it advertised that the hot tub was ready and usable, they ended up telling us it was unavailable, other then that not a bad place to stay for a few nights. "

"The property was decorated with mid century cabin charm inside and outside the garden area had distinct seating spaces to enjoy whether you wanted to dine alfresco, take a siesta in the hammock or chill on the patio listening to the river flow. All the amenities were high quality and plentiful. I wish we could have the bed shipped home it was so comfortable. I would stay there again without hesitation. "

When arriving, we initially thought our stay would be in the cute home next door. Though the address I was given wasn't the next door address, we thought surely we wouldn't be staying in someone's back yard. We were wrong. "We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this cute, very clean,updated motel. The hostess was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully updated. The shower was huge! The bed was comfortable, and the room had a Keurig with coffee pods and biscotti. The grounds are well taken care of and clean. The pool was lovely. I really liked the older feel of the property. The sign states the property originated in 1955. It has a lot of charm and I really liked the character of the place. There are a lot of outdoor seating areas, and the property is within walking distance of everything in Kernville. I would definitely stay again!"

"Since 2023, we’ve been coming back to Kernville annually. Whispering Pines Lodge is the only place we considered staying at. We’ve travelled to many places, stayed at various hotels/inns/cottages but never stayed in the same place 2x except at Whispering Pines Lodge. It’s like home away from home, a sanctuary when we want to decompress and just relax. "
