「This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. 」

「Communication was great! The location was easy to find with enough parking right in front of the house. The AC units worked great and we were comfortable the entire time. Loved the two escape ladders as a precaution; we obviously didn’t need to use them but that peace of mind was great. I would easily book again without any reservations! Water pressure in the shower was fine and the fire pit was nice. There are horses right next door, which did smell a bit depending on the wind. But that was not...

「We came in Fall for a quick getaway to explore the area. The Great Outpost was indeed, great!Our host were welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed and more, including the hot tub. Really cool place to stay. Close to Kernville, where they were having a community fall festival. So much fun! I would love to come back to ski. Thank you Fyza!!!! 」

「Had a great stay for a solo fly fishing trip on the Kern River. The property was just I expected based on photos and descriptions. Host communication was clear and helpful. Enjoyed the wood stove and limitless firewood each evening. Would definitely stay here again.」
