Een idyllische plek waar men er alles aan doet om je thuis te laten voelen in de Dordogne op 10 min. Van Bergerac. Goede wijnen, whiskey’s en heerlijk culinair eten. Goed onderhouden golfbaan. Fijn zwembad, mooie villa’s om te huren met het gezin. Men spreek Nederlands, Engels en Frans. Eigenaren zijn Nederlands.

We stayed in one of their standard rooms which was cosy and beautifully clean. We had a candlelit dinner on the terrace and breakfast the next day, the food was excellent. We also made use of their pool area which was very serene. I would also like to mention that their staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful French Countryside Experience

An authentic French countryside experience. Not the Ritz but incredibly comfortable and special. If you are okay with a few economies - older towels, for example - you will enjoy your stay. The property is beautiful and special, the staff could not be kinder, the food in the restaurant is traditional French-chic, the breakfast is massive. I would go back in a minute. If you want to see the Dordogne, be near Bergerac, play a little country golf, taste wine - this is a great spot. We visited in chilly February and it was still spectacular. Recommended without any reservations.

Personnel tres pro et sympa. Mais pour un 4 étoiles très dessus, rapport qualité prix. Pas de mini-bar dans la chambre. Menage très moyen, dans les parties communes comme la chambre et salle de bain.

Charming hotel and beautiful interior and design. Relaxing and smart modern furnishings and kind and helpful staff who speak English and are very knowledgeable. Beautiful grounds with golf course and great golfing tuition. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing stay. We booked for one night and stayed for four nights!

Magnifique cadre, check in un peu hâtif, personnel très correct dans l'ensemble, propreté de la salle de bain pas à la hauteur du type d'établissement (peut être un loupé ça arrive). Restaurant bon mais un peu cher pour la qualité ( une partie d'un de nos plat était bien trop salé ). Sonorisation assez faible. Des petites fautes dommages pour le réel potentiel de l'hôtel

y venir et y revenir sans modération!

nous aimons tellement les merles que nous en nous parlons comme de notre résidence secondaire. nous nous y sentons bien, les gens sont accueillants et agréables. c'est toujours une expérience heureuse!

A perfect place to stay.

This hotel is just so good, the buildings and interiors are beautiful, the staff so very helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and I cannot think of anything bad to say about it. It is just a great place to relax and enjoy being in France.

Très belle adresse avec service très agréable et convivial. Proposition : être plus écologique (rechargeable à la place des produits de salle de bains en plastique). Pas besoin de Nutela en conditionnements sur un si beau buffet petit déjeuner.

Very disappointing

Room was very sparse and poorly furnished. Lighting was poor. There were no proper bedside tables and no desk or dressing table. There was very little space in both the bedroom and bathroom to put anything down. There was one very cheap towel rail suitable for one towel only, which was loose on the wall. The bedroom door did not lock from the inside, and it was necessary to but on a very flimsy chain. No air conditioning..

Beautiful hotel, good service, friendly staf. Choice out of two restaurants, price quality is good. Would go there for diner even if I was not staying at the hotel. Nice challenging 9 holes golf course!

Prachtig oud kasteeltje. Sfeervol ingericht.

Fijn zwembad en mooie golfbaan erbij. Ontzettend vriendelijk; deels Nederlands, personeel. Heerlijk lekker gegeten, ontbijtbuffet met champagne, roereitje, zalm etc etc. 's avonds keuze restaurant of Brasserie, beide prima.

Attraktiv mit einem großen Fehler

An gesunden Schlaf war nicht zu denken: Eine katastrophale Matratze mit leichter Schräglage und einer fehlenden Klimaanlage im Hochsommer bei 37° lässt dies nicht zu. Damit verhindert die Anlage, die ein gutes Restaurant und eine herrliche Aussicht anbietet, eine positive Bewertung.

Vi blev mycket väl mottagna, vid ankomst ett glas champagne o en liten förrätt/tapas från bygden. Fina rum i ett helrenoverat slott. Bra service vid middagen, även mycket bra frukost. Vi fick prova fem olika viner som vi dagen därpå kunde köpa o ta med oss d v s vi valde två olika av de fem. Bra bemötande o rent. Stora ytor att vara på utanför rummet, salonger, gräsmattor, stor utepool. Bra område att promenera. Ligger i ihop med en golfbana för de som gilla det är det perfekt. Mycket trevlig personal. Det fanns flera fina detaljer runt om i restaurangen, baren, i gångarna, salongerna. Mycket fint med gamla detaljer t ex handfat, bevarat varvat med moderna detaljer o konst.

Great experience!

We liked the setting. Great experience and good location to explore the Dordogne region. The restaurant is nice, but food could be better - also overpriced. Would stay again.

Gorgeous hotel with great staff

I loved this place. Certainly one of the most welcoming hotels I haver stayed at. Staff are kind and helpful but not intrusive. Excellent food. Will definitely be back.

Good base for visiting Perigord

A very pleasant stay. Comfortable room, excellent restaurant that I would go back to even if not staying at the hotel (and not expensive!), very pleasant staff who were all english speaking for those of you who struggle with your high school french.Unfortunately it rained the two days we were there, but the pool area looked nice. Highly recommended.
