Nous avons apprécié l'accueil personnalisé de grande qualité, la quiétude du lieu, la décoration soignée, la facilité de parking et la cour pour les repas du soir. Le château d'Amboise et le Clos-Lucé sont facilement accessibles en vélo. Chenonceau et Chaumont-sur-Loire le sont aussi en moins d'une heure. Merci à Murielle pour son accueil, les communications et les petites attentions de l'arrivée. Nous recommandons cette location."

"Amazing hotel! Enormous room!! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed! Great price for what it is!!! We could enjoy the swimming pool just after our arrival, so it was a bonus after a long drive in a hot day!"

"Main entrance and reception may not look like in most hotels but once you are in, you will find a nice distribution. Rooms are spacious with a practical bathroom. Very helpful staff and an excellent breakfast They have a small cozy bar which is waiting for an alcohol license to be served."

"Great hotel, with great location by the river and great 3rd party underground parking right opposite. Only issues were Breakfast, Sunday morning was Chaos, the 1 member of staff did their best, but everything was lacking, like tables not cleaned, and at any one time when you went to the buffet there was always a few things that had run out, from clean plates, glasses, Cups, ran out of Waffle batter, no tomatoes, no fresh juice, no pastries.. they would re plenish one thing only for 2 others to run out, felt sorry for them, as should have been staffed better. Aircon was weak, fair enough the weather was very hot, but the room was at best a little cooler than outside, not cold, as you could expect from a new building ran by a premium chain. Having said all this it is the 3rd time I've stayed here and would definitely stay again or at its sister hotel across the road when next passing Tours way."

"La Maison Rabelais is in the heart of Amboise – well-located and nearly everything is an easy 5-10 minute walk, though the train station is on the other side of the river by 1.5 mi, necessitating a ride. Very nice breakfast – hearty and copious. While the property does NOT have A/C, the room (big and spacious) stayed cool however the ventilation system was configured. It was a little warm at night but not uncomfortable, especially considering afternoons were near 100 F/38 C. Definitely a nice property."

"Beautiful old-world hotel right in the centre of Tours. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and the hotel staff very kindly upgraded us to one of the suites! We loved the room and its art deco style: huge space, big bathroom and the aircon was excellent. Excellent breakfasts and the staff were so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"
