The room was clean and roomy. Check in was seamless and staff friendly. The only drawback was that the air conditioner would not stay on for any length of time and we were told this is a recurring problem, in part because the unit is inches away from a bed making the unit's thermostat think the room is cooler than it is. The remote for the television wasn't working and the young man at the front desk couldn't solve the problem, so he generously let us use the master remote. Would stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn in Morro Bay. The facility was safe, comfortable and clean. The staff was delightful, helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again without any question. However, I would prefer NOT to stay in the same room abutting the electrical equipment room (104) which had a slight continuous buzzing noise from the buildings water heater system. It wasn't unpleasant just constant and it in fact didn't impair our great night of blissful sleep. We definitely would recommend spending your time here!

I have stayed at fireside in numerous times, I have always felt that check-in has been so easy and I’ve always felt safe being there. It’s walkable distance to my favorite coffee shop and bookstore. There are numerous dining options that are also within distance.
