「Staff members extremely helpful and the room is spacious enough for single occupancy. Tea and coffee facilities are available and the bathroom is adequate with my preference of a walk in shower. Ponteland is a 20 minute walk where there is extensive bars and restaurants. Newcastle is a short drive away and also is accessible by the metro line from the airport terminal, which is a 5 minutes walk from the property.」

「Lovely place. Room was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was modern & gleaming. Slight mix up over bed type was quickly sorted while we had a complimentary drink in the beer garden. The room had a nice view over grass onto the sea / estuary. The beds were so comfortable, I didn’t want to get up & pack to come home. The only thing we found missing in the room was a bin, but we just brought the one out of the bathroom. Included breakfast was served in their cafe and it was gorgeous. A real gem of a...

「Perfect stay. Such welcoming hosts. Property was easy to find, so beautifully decorated, and very quiet. Our room, like the whole property, was pristine. So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. And breakfast - vegan, gluten, and normal options, freshly cooked, delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you」

「We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs. We were at the front of the building right above the hotel bar and both Friday and Saturday night I struggled to sleep til the partygoers left at midnight. I had the windows shut and the blinds...

「Great room which was plush and spotless, great hosts who were friendly and attentive and a great location to walk into the town for an evening bar meal, a short walk to the coast and beach or for sightseeing in the area. Breakfast was superb. Will certainly be returning. 」

「Fabulous cottage in a quiet setting. Airy and light & welcoming. Nice big dining kitchen with (more than!) everything we needed. View from sitting room over the hills was lovely. A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area.」
