The cabin is beautiful; the furniture is gorgeous and the views are lovely. DON’T TRY TO FIND THIS PLACE IN THE DARK! We got lost (even with the typed directions; never found the fork in the road)… and after 1.5 hrs of driving around in total darkness using a strong flashlight to see where the roads ended, my girlfriends wanted to go to find a hotel for the night. I wasn’t about to mention the movie “Wrong Turn,” but I was determined to find the cabin, so I called the after hours emergence # & Kailey (I think ?) stayed on the line with us until we found the cabin. The drive way is paved but it rained one night, so when we returned from hanging out in Blue Ridge, the leaves made the drive way so slick we could not get up the drive way. (It was early Nov.) We did not have 4-wheel drive so we had to kick the wet leaves in order to clear a path for the tires. A guy in the next cabin must have felt sorry for us because he came & helped us get my SUV up the driveway. It made for a good laugh later but we decided that was enough adventure for one trip!

Thanksgiving

We had the most perfect post-Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay with our dogs. We love to travel but getting to bring our doodles was such a treat. The cabin was well appointed, so clean it felt new, and had absolutely everything we needed. The hiking nearby was refreshing and wonderful. I am forever grateful and hope we can return soon! We want to make this getaway a tradition.

Great location but amenities need some work

No water pressure in either shower for a good 10 minutes when you turn it on, couldn’t get Up drive way in a SUV because gravel is too thick, mattresses are terrible,

Had an issue from the moment we arrived!

Had an issue from the moment we arrived. The hot tub had NOT been drained or cleaned. There was slime on the wall and the water smelt like pond water. HOWEVER, I made one text to the contact given for emergencies and they had the issue resolved the same day. No fault of the property owner, it was the cleaning crew. Great expedited service by management in getting us hot tube ready!! The rest of the cabin was great. Great weekend! Well-supplied cabin! 5 Star!

Great stay in November

Great area, amazing views. We were able to see deer and turkeys in the neighborhood. Clean home. Perfect size for 3 adults and 1 toddler (we brought our own pack and play which fit in the upstairs bedroom). We also had our 2 dachshunds who had plenty of room downstairs. Parking area is spacious. Appreciated the board games and binder with all the local recommendations . There was some confusion regarding how to lock the door , seems there was a different mechanism to lock the door than specified in the instructions , but we figured it out through trial and error. Also water pressure is a bit light but not a big deal.

Steep Driveway

Cute cabin and very clean, but be aware that the driveway is very steep and only has gravel on it and is full of ruts. In order for us to get to top we had to floor the gas. You really need a four wheel vehicle to get up driveway. I would not recommend without one.

Blue Ridge Mountains Trip

Slice of Heaven

Had a good time.

Cute cabin. Annoying check in process. Loud neighbors. 3 other cabins right out your back door. We loved the cabin but they are a dime a dozen and we probably wouldn’t stay in this one again.

Beautiful and relaxing.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies needed to cook with. The beds are comfortable. Fabulous getaway! We will be back!

Peaceful mountain retreat

The cabin was exceptionally clean! We’ve come to expect a less-than-stellar experience with cleanliness when pets are allowed, but this cabin was incredible clean. Well stocked kitchen, easy checkout process. The location was beautiful and private. Morganton is close enough to visit the towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay easily, and we enjoyed the beautiful mountain roads. Thanks for a great stay for us and our pups!

Nice cabin, beware view and neighbors

Overall the cabin itself is great. Well appointed, good air conditioning, excellent hot tub, comfortable furnishings. The deck is lovely. A few things to note. You have to drive to Blue Ridge first just to get the door code. They should just email you this information. Also, the views in the picture are not accurate unless you’re coming when there are no leaves on the trees. We came in summer and you could just see a sliver of the view. Additionally, you can see three houses from this place and the noise carries easily. We could hear the TV of the uphill neighbors and the downhill neighbors were loud as well.

Enjoyed our stay

Driving up to the property was beautiful. The cabin was very cozy and well stocked with everything you need (pots, pans, etc). Our family loved the cabin and really enjoyed our time here. The only negatives were the trash can area had garbage around it that had not been picked up prior to our arrival. When a guy showed up to empty the bin, he left the garbage surrounding the bin on the ground. The foldout couch in the upstairs loft apparently had fleas and my son woke up with 16 bites. Since this is a pet friendly property, I suspect a previous tenant let their dog sleep there (hence the fleas). But, other than that, we loved the cabin.
