Located on the small harbor and looking toward the mainland the location of this hotel is lovely. The staff is kind and made us feel welcome. Dinners were great and breakfast was fantastic! We loved it here!

This is a very nice, family run hotel. Food in the evening was excellent, as was breakfast. The building is quite old, but it works. The area is very nice, and the water is very close by. If you're wanting to stay in this area of the island, we would recommend this hotel.

My room was awesome - had a balcony with a view of the harbor. I was in Sweden for the Ironman Triathlon in Kalmar so I appreciated the ample space in my room to lay out my gear, work on my bike, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is awesome and attracts people people from around the town, not just the people staying there. During my 5-night stay, I ate 5 meals there, not including the free breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the owner. I loved being able to walk down to the harbor and around town. Its is around 35 minutes by car to downtown Kalmar, so quick access to the city, with a much more relaxing environment.

Size of family room was ok. However, they were too stingy to provide hand wash to be used as body wash? We had to move one and only bottle between shower room and toilet. For the price we paid, this is not really good hotel standard. Will not recommend.

Mycket trevligt hotell med toppenläge. Ett minus var att frukosten var en "kall frukostbuffé". Det var inte en "hotellfrukost" som vi förväntar oss till det rumspriset vi betalade. Saknade främst äggröra och knaperstekt bacon. Saknade också några typ "dessert-ostar" samt frukt och bär.

Veldig fint hotell. Stille og rolig (litt stille by), men om man skal slappe av er dette midt i blinken. Følte oss hjemme med personalet som alltid var imøtekommende og hggelige. Fint utgangspunkt for å oppdage Öland med bil/sykkel.
