About this property

Rathbun Lake, Antler Acres Rental - 2 bedroom, 2 bath

  • We are now renting our paradise/summer getaway!! A perfect location and setup for your family!! Located in Antler Acres just 3 miles from the Honey Creek State Park boat ramp. Our newer modern mobile home is situated on a peaceful corner lot, with a very nice view. Great neighborhood setting, with 2 lots worth of yard space for games and campfires. We have lots of room for parking, including your boat or jet skis.

    Nice large front deck overlooking a great view of our neighbor's pond and the great outdoors. The pond is not ours and therefore can't be fished in.
    The home has an open-concept living room with a full kitchen area. Gas grill on the back deck for cooking outdoors. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and a master bath, the other has a full-size bed with 2nd bathroom close by. The bedrooms are located on each end of the rental.

    Our rental sleeps 4 people comfortably and there is a futon in the living room that folds out and will sleep, 2 guests. There is an additional charge for a 5th and 6th guest. Max 6 guests overnight (over limit = eviction)

    You will find great roads to safely take those nice refreshing walks and just an all-around great neighborhood.

    *Central Air

    *Keyless entry on the front sliding glass door and back door.

    * No Parties or large gatherings on our property

    * No motor homes or campers are allowed on our property

    * Out of respect for our neighbors, No fireworks are allowed on our property .

    *Quiet time 11 pm - 7 am

    *WE DO NOT OWN THE POND AND THEREFORE NO FISHING IS ALLOWED

    *No smoking in our rental.

    *Please use the outlet by the front sliding glass door to charge your trolly motors.
    We do have extension cord available so let us know if you are going to need one.

    *A fish cleaning station is also available at our rental. Please let us know if you would like to use it.

    *Please clean all fish and game outside or at the lake. Do not put fish scales, scraps, or carcasses down the indoor drains or toilets, as this will clog the plumbing."

    *The garage is for our own personal use.


    * Fishing guide services are available. Check out Lake Rathbun Guide Services on Facebook.
    John is excellent and if you love to fish, John will help you find them.

    *Walking and bike trails are less than 5 minutes away.

    * Nearby bars and restaurants are just minutes away.

The best hosts!

Can’t say enough great things about Brad and Bernie as hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodations combined with regular check-ins and communication - they made us feel like family. This is a GREAT option if you are visiting the Rathbun area to hunt, fish, or just enjoy some of Iowa’s finest outdoors and wilderness areas. 5 stars, highly recommend! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Pick this place

This was our first time visit to Rathbun Lake.We could not have asked for a nicer, more comfortable place to stay. Everything we needed for a week long stay was available. Brad & Bernie checked every day to see if we needed anything and they were very helpful in helping us find our way around the area. We can't imagine anyone being disappointed in staying here. Thanks Brad & Bernie.

Booked this great place for a fishing trip and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house was spotless—everything was clean, fresh, and well-maintained. It even smelled great when we arrived.The hosts were friendly, attentive, and communicated exceptionally well throughout the process. We especially appreciated the pre-bagged ice, which helped keep our cooler cold and ready for our fishing days.The large driveway was another nice bonus, providing plenty of room for both our truck and boat. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we would definitely consider renting this property again on our next trip.

The place was perfect for our fishing trip. Plenty of room to park trucks and boat. Nice fire pit, grill, and fish cleaning table. Close to boat ramp. Great hosts!

Property and amenities were perfect for us. Huge driveway to keep our boat and truck, fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, clean beds and linens and gracious hosts. Will come again!
