Was great for our kids, 4 & 2 years old. May be less fun for older kids, as there are only 2 large slides. Despite the smaller size there is a lot to do :)

My room was very clean. The stay was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. Since my room was ready they even let me check in early!
There are 2 restaurants in this hotel. We had drinks at the one near the lobby and we ate at the ROOF. The food was delish! The environment was fun. We were worried that it was going to be more for the 20 something crowd, but there were adults of every age there.
This hotel is also just steps from The Chicago Theatre which makes it super convenient when seeing an event there.

I love the decor and it was very clean. My only problem is they did not clean the room every day other than that is was very clean facility. Very safe location.

Bedroom & bathroom very clean.The shower was wonderful! Lots of clean fluffy towels. Hot breakfast was good with a big choice of foods. I like the fact that staff accompanied us to the table.
The rooftop bar was amazing and heated.
My only thought would be, please put some tea sachets in the room... as not everyone drinks coffee. We would definitely recommend the Riu!

I think this place is best for the 10 and under crowd. It was good enough for my teen for the length we stayed (one night). Any longer and he would have been bored.
